Rapid Hollow -> Omega Cost (2/6/2013 1:57:49)

Personally i think the equipment upgrading price is a bit steep but i'm no hardcore player so discuss!

Mother1 -> RE: Omega Cost (2/6/2013 2:00:12)

They said the credit prices would go up from the beginning. But to be honest I had over 100K in credits, and I went through it like it was candy. Omega is even more expensive then before lol.

NDB -> RE: Omega Cost (2/6/2013 2:03:11)

800,000 credits and now I'm down to 700,000. But overall the prices are AMAZING!!! Old varium weapons cost like 20,000 now! Even got the Blood Rider for a mere 30,000. What a bargain this is...

NEOCROM -> RE: Omega Cost (2/6/2013 2:03:56)

So they kinda wanna make us farm more....Cool....why would they do this anyway? More expensive prices.

Blaze The Aion Ender -> RE: Omega Cost (2/6/2013 2:06:24)

I had 80k credits and 3k goin' into Omega

I'm down to 300 creds and 123 varium

The varium was wasted from my stupidity...
But the credits.. .I almost got everything I wanted, need one more skill core...
Also, my build worked... So I can sleep happy

Rapid Hollow -> RE: Omega Cost (2/6/2013 2:08:52)

Before omega i was more focused on getting the best looking weapons which i tried to do but i had no idea of the omega prices :/ probably should have payed more attention. :p

NEOCROM -> RE: Omega Cost (2/6/2013 2:18:50)

One of the WORST things they've ever made, hope they will realise that with some of this ridiculous changes, they will probably lose some players.

Drianx -> RE: Omega Cost (2/6/2013 3:15:02)

Dear players,

You should have supported me when I kept asking for a better compensation for enhancements. Now those are gone and you are feeling empty handed. Smart.

Bye.

NEOCROM -> RE: Omega Cost (2/6/2013 3:22:47)

I supported when i sayed the compensations are poor, especially after they did such awful things. I tought omega would be a better phase than gama and delta, but i was wrong, it's 10 times worse.

J.U.S.T.I.C.E. -> RE: Omega Cost (2/6/2013 3:23:29)

Round 2 of the money making game.

NEOCROM -> RE: Omega Cost (2/6/2013 3:24:54)

Something tells me that this is going to be pay 2 win.

theholyfighter -> RE: Omega Cost (2/6/2013 3:33:42)

To add on, which sooooo less stats to work with, we usually focus our stats onto the build we're aiming for, so actually each retrain costs 1500 credits.............

Btw, Omega isn't even complete; we can't use Skill Cores freely....We have to pay EVERY time we put on a core, no matter if we used it already......

TRizZzCENTRINO -> RE: Omega Cost (2/6/2013 4:35:36)

@everybody they still need to get adjusted, remember even if this is the official release of omega, it is still a testing phase in the next few weeks, they need to fix each feature/skill/stat/cores according to the player's feedbacks.

@drianx the bad things about omega has nothing to do with enhancement refund, the only downside of omega is that strength and support abuse is still a major problem and the battle ends too fast.

theholyfighter -> RE: Omega Cost (2/6/2013 4:38:16)

^Yea hopefully

You're unbelievably optimistic!

TRizZzCENTRINO -> RE: Omega Cost (2/6/2013 4:40:56)

Above IKR I'm just too impossible, never giving up on the ED team since they made it this far.

Oba -> RE: Omega Cost (2/6/2013 4:48:39)

Unless we buy cores like we buy every other item, and its in our inventory, Omega will be and so it will stay as, a worse phase. I dont think the upgrade prices should be adjusted, and 250 credits to change the stats on each wep... is just annoying. That also need to disappear. If you're gonna change build you most likely will have to retrain each item in your set, and the normal retraining fee. It will cost 1500 credits just to change build once you've managed to farm enough money to upgrade your gear.

Darkeroid -> RE: Omega Cost (2/6/2013 5:02:43)

They said on twitter that they know about all the issues and are noting them down.

TRizZzCENTRINO -> RE: Omega Cost (2/6/2013 5:23:50)

@all you know it would make their(the dev's) life or job a whole lot easier if people can address the issue in a informative manner, not just complaints.

Aren't we speaking about Omega being too expensive here? There are other threads for balance issues.

Cyberbeast10 -> RE: Omega Cost (2/6/2013 7:12:13)

I have to agree that Omega is expensive. Mainly it's that you have to retrain item stats each time you retrain your character so it compliments better. Personally, I think that the price for retraining items should be lower (100?) and that you can retrain your item stats along with your character stats when you're leveling up or retraining your character; free of charge.

Cores on the other hand are a much bigger issue. I don't have any, but the fact you have to pay over 5K each time you want a core added in is...quite ridiculous. It eats up a lot of credits. They should be permanent items you can use as many times as you want after you buy them.

f4tal1tY -> RE: Omega Cost (2/6/2013 7:24:22)

Dem Cores. Stahp Cores stahp. What are you doing to my credits :(( down to 5k credits... well that sucks, i missed out on the Omega Release, so missed out on the restock of Dages items once again. Oh well what can i say first world problems of living in a GMT+8 Timezone. Ohh and btw, I don't really mind the credit cost being this high as i can just farm NPCs, and also, it gives free2play players a chance to get previously varium gear! :)

Practel -> RE: Omega Cost (2/6/2013 7:26:28)

You guys need to understand that the devs aren't going to hand you guys cores and upgrades like giving candy to a child.

The feature was made available to everyone, for something that I'd say was quite fair. To max enhance your old weapon in Delta was what, 300,000 credits? Now it's 7-8k to insert a core? That sounds unreasonable?

Varium is there to reduce the farm time and get what you want instantly. No ones telling you that you can't use it, and vice versa.

I saw a comment that said "This game is going to be pay to win", and all I can say to that is how do you know? We've opened up pretty much a major part of the game to everyone.

Oba -> RE: Omega Cost (2/6/2013 7:33:01)

Who said we wanted them for free? We buy cores therefor we should only have to buy them once and be able to equip them as many times as we want and switch between them without having to pay a fortune.

Yes, 2 cores are cheaper than 10 enhancements slots. But the enhancements slots was always the same, and we could change them whenever we wanted. From now on, I can just imagine that with each update new stronger cores will release. And as I've been a top player for 3 years, I wish to stay so, therefor I will most likely have to buy 2 new cores to each item with every update. With enhancements it was not like this.

You paid for 10 enhancements and you recieved 10 enhancements. In Omega you buy a single time use item which will get outdated very quickly. Not to mention that you need 8 of those cores to get a full set.

@above you still don't get it do you? practel never said it was for free, he meant that the devs don't want us getting things without spending much time and effort, do you understand that cores are better than enhancements in everyway? your enhancements are useless once a new weapon comes out, but every cores can be useful even if new ones come out, plus it has a reasonable price, is 7k credits really that hard to gain? the devs want more diversity in the game, the enhancements are killing the diversity because we all know what varium players do with enhancement points, they force it into a stat and abuse it, that's the reason why i dislike delta, because everyone is abusing the same stat and using identical builds because of the massive boost of the enhancements.

uh, are you really talking about omega or delta? remember items in omega doesn't get outdated, you can always upgrade it to the next level.

Drianx -> RE: Omega Cost (2/6/2013 7:56:17)

@Practel
Let's refer to one statement: build diversity and creativity.

In Delta we could move enhancements around for free and experiment with builds for only the cost of a retrain.

In Omega, have you calculated how much does a single major build switch cost?

EDIT: you should think of a way for players to test builds for free and then choose to pay for and keep it or not, because changing a build - including cores - is hugely expensive.
