I don't know how everybody else is doing after the patch, but i'm doing slightly better. Mainly because i could invest the leftover points into my great defense gap which also makes me getting blocked a bit less and the extra energy gives me a chance to win the match even when i start second. So for me it's a plus patch.

^Yep, a lot of my faction mates are thankful for the patch. One of my members told me he didn't know how he got those extra points in hp and mp, but he will exploit it :P.

Im done with this game. Me and my Opponent exactly has the same build. I out play him with different strategy but randomly he blocks my berserker(with everything same).

This game is a waste of time with this luck factors. Not even mentioning Low stat lucks.

Plasma bolt need to get a nerf, and go back as it was before it got its latest buff...

It was really a good idea to release this balance update. Give the abusers more HP and EP so they can abuse even more. Great thinking!

While I agree with you on that, they also need to nerf strength as well. Getting 2 turned by a strength abuser without a chance to counter isn't fun either so many others is using that luck you want nerfed as a counter to an overpowered plan.

So personally I hope they nerf both at the same time because if they don't then one will be more OP then the other especially if they decide to nerf luck and leave strength overpowered.

I have been saying that since delta but many people disagreed because it would hurt the lower level mages. However at the same time I had alts that were 2 turned by max malf max plasma bolt. The damage you can get out of it is crazy especially when abusing tech.

Concussive shot needs a buff...
It doesn't affect Passives which is fine but then it resolves all to luck.

I always have the misfortune to CD the lowest trained skill...
To make it more usefull it should either affect 1 of the top 2 trained skills or
the highest trained one.

^ I think they should make it completely NOT luck based and let you actually choose the skill, however it only goes into 1 cool down.

But it would certainly make for some nice strategies, and possibly buff those builds that arn't str based because they can stall their STR based skills.


Plus luck based skill cores are a horrible idea to begin with.

Another subject that needs a fix in Omega is Rage...

In ALL phases it wasn't a big deal due to having a lot of health and/or a lot of defences.

Omega on the otherhand, which seems to promote Str Builds, has no place for a 45% defence ignore Berzerker
or Double Strike or even a Bludgeon... We already have little health and/or defences so Rage needs to be relooked at.

I think they should reduce the base rage gain, but increase the support influence.

See, I'm not even a tester yet I see the small problems within Omega...
It's commen sence really.

The game can only be more strategic if we'd actualy have more control over our abilities and cores...
I am not even able to use the energy gun core just because if I do, it'll be the end...

Getting 65+ damage on a rage berzerker while having a +23 energy shield and 29-35 +4
resistance is broken and everyone knows that

Guys don't give up! I just found out today that tank builds (Or at least my version) has 80% win ratio and counters Str builds 70% of the time.

and despite as a tank having a lot more stats in defences, we

Well after spending the day by trying different builds and tactics, I'm proud to announce that I'm officially retired till this get properly balanced/nerf str. This is rediculous. The testers must be really proud of themselves for doing such a great job!

[:D]I think this patch was amazing. Strength users are actually a lot easier for me to counter now with those extra stat points. Love the costs being lowered. Now I just can't wait for some new cores to be released. Might actually buy some varium when they are.

Why not make concussion let you actually choose the skill but only give one cool down.


This way the skill core can be about strategy and also at the same time add counters for STR builds as it will most likely benefit builds that use the aux, and reduce luck, 3 birds one stone.

Varium has changed, it is no longer a battle advantage ( Slight one in terms of exclusive cores).

So this means all the people that get put off the game because of the varium advantage instead of buying, will not happen, most likely increasing the player base, and therefore with more people more varium will be purchased for the purpose of short-cutting costs.

I don't think plasma bolt should get nerfed unless bunker buster gets nerfed along with it. From my understanding everyone was ranting about strength builds, but I see otherwise now.

example of a layout from a BloodMage( just an example, not accurate )

1FM - 1FB - 1ES
0PC - 10BL - 0PR

Passives aren't affected so they aren't in Bold
Those 2 skills in Bold are definatly affected with the ' Chance ' of receiving a cooldown.
My problem with this skill is, it also has a chance to give a cooldown to a skill that isn't being used
per example those that are in Cursive, which makes it a waste of attack...
It would be strategicaly better if the effect only affected Top 2 or even Highest trained skill...
It could extend the duration of a Massacre for a last minute heal or a rage or whatnot...
The way it is now, it's not worth the risk using...

Edit:
Another thing that needs a fix, make Meteor, Pumpkin Rain, Thorns and Plasma Armor Unrageable... I mean come on man
