All i hear nowadays on forums is "Oh, the mods and staff dont care about us" or "omega was

worst update ever" or "They dont care about the paying players anymore." You guys need to please

quit allof this childish behavior and be happy for everything they do. They made the gap between

varium andnon-varium players closed. As i recall all you guys ever fought about on balance forum was

about how thegap was too large. Honestly, i am one of the players who had put a lot of money into this

game and got 1% enhancement achievement and i love omega. I dont mind that enhancements are

gone because the achievement helped me get to my goal of blue star. You all say how they "stole" your

money while in reality you paid var to get your weps and stuff and enhancements was a perk of the

game that they feel wasnt needed anymore (i agree with their notion). I am from beta and back in beta

there were no enhancements, just weapons to buy and you earned your wins fair and square. Although

i had paid a lot towards enhancements i am happy with how the game is progressing. Now it doesnt

matter if someone is non var or varium, they dont get ridiculed for being a "noob" or having "noob"

stats.The team looks out for everyone and they do a great job at it. The mods are trusted to do their

jobs in-game, which they do a tremendous job at, while the devs make new and upcoming releases.

The mods have so many different responsibilities that you guys dont know about. And if you felt as

though you were treated unfairly, look at their point of view of the situation, they dont take lightly to

harassing of others and trash talking. Honestly, this game is amazing and they do a great job at

keeping the community, as a whole, happy and guessing what will come next. Next, people on forums

and in-game were begging for more missions to do and better rewards. Then, they come out with 50+

missions and you complain about the mission details and work you have to do to get the better reward.

Honestly, instead of trashing the devs, mods, testers, staff whenever you can, try looking at the good

things they have done. Also, im sure you have made friends online you would have never met if it

werent for epicduel. You guys add eachother on psn and League of Legends because u met on epicduel.

So please, if you are going to trash the staff, think twice about it, because you are definite hypocrites if

you do. We have an awesome community in Epicduel, just some people want too much without

knowing all of the work that has to be done. Your wishes will be fulfilled in the future, so just be happy

and battle others in-game and get to know the other players in the community. And to all of the mods,

staff, devs, testers, etc. keep doing what you are doing, there are a lot who support you.

the unfortunate thing is that those people will not change their ways or stop being negative even after they read it, i would be glad if they would think differently and change their ways, but there is always gonna be a bad nut somewhere in the pile of good nuts.

No matter what kind of person you are, there are bound to be things you don't like, once in a while. It's okay to complains in a sense that you are aware of what he devs have done. So I don't think it's necessary to penalize everyone who has criticize the choices the devs have made, although those guys who don't realize the effort the devs have made should shut up. Anyway I kinda feel like your talking trash about everyone else now, and that's not really a nice way to ask people to be grateful. So...I don't get it. Are you asking for people to be grateful for Epic Duel or to quit complaining about Omega? I'm sure everyone already agrees that they appreciate Epic Duel being here, so it's sorta irrelevant to bring those kinds of things up, like what friends you have made playing the game... Overall, nice post though.

I know, but i just want staff to know they are being appreciated and there are those who thank them for what they do and the others are just annoyed at everything for no reason at all.

You see only with the eyes. The mods do not do 'a tremendous job' looking out for everyone. I've played many many games, and I can say this with experience. "Stealing" is just a matter of figurative speech people use to show how outraged they are. You take it too literally. No crap they didn't steal it, my credit card wasn't taken by some chap who spent a couple good hours on a plane and taken to the devs. The promises they make are a joke. Yeah, making a big update takes time, but they never learn from their mistakes. Exactly how many updates have been delayed? It's a simple solution really, announce an upcoming update AFTER completing it. It's not even funny how they can just get out of it everytime with the stubborn members of the community supporting them. The so called "balancing" is a joke. Str builds are easily the most popular builds, presumably, a person would test these popular builds first, yeah the testing is done, but they still release it even if it's OP. Remember when TLM first came out? A blind person would know the skill tree is incredibly overpowered. How long's a fix supposed to take? Not half a year like it did take.

You can't just live life ignoring the bad and just looking at the good, before you know it the bad has snowballed to a point where you cannot even start to comprehend on the loss you have just realised.

ah and you feel you could do a better job? you feel you could rewrite the 9,000 lines of coding it took for new battle system, you think you could do even a small percentage of what they do. You can moan and whine all you like about the "unfair" things they do or the "bad" things they do. but, woah, oh my god. you still play it... imagine that, it cant be so bad as to where u leave so stop throwing them down to bring urself up bc ur in the wrong. And yes they do a tremendous job. u dont know half the things they have to do.

Really, I don't need to know what they do, it doesn't matter. I only expect a single thing in developers and that is trust. I can't write 900 lines of codes, but that's irrelevant. I am not a developer, I am a player, all a player needs to know is how to play the game. Gameplay doesn't go away with having the knowledge of a developer.

gratefulness. Also, they need to learn to think about others. (hence the reason for factions and stuff)

yes i agree that strength is a problem, but that doesn't give anyone any right to complain in a un-civil manner, it would not help to improve the game but rather delay its progress, if you report the problem in a civil manner and being informative about it, i doubt it would take longer than when players are complaining.

some just come complaining for their own entertainment, like i said before to Nub apocalypse, if they truly want the game to be better, then they should not complain but rather address the problem in detail so the devs can get to it quickly, i am not so happy about omega but i never went around complaining that the game is horrible, instead i go around stating what has caused me to dislike the phase and later exchanging my opinion with the devs on the matter.

Yeah, this is getting out of hand. I still believe there is some confusion going on here. Devs deserve a hand for effort. Whether you like whats going on in the game is a completely different matter. It depends on which way you are looking at it.

Gratefulness? You play a game for the fun of it, you can enjoy it as it is, or if you're competitive, you go for a win. What you need is skill in that case. Gratefulness is just a bonus comment for the developers who do a good job. I am very grateful to the developers who made some of the other games I play because they deserve it.

This seems very civil to me. I don't see myself holding a knife against your neck forcing you to agree with me am I? Believe me, comments of praise are the ones most likely to be ignored. If you want to improve a game, the best way is to complain. Pretty much all of the balance issues I remember have been because people were complaining. Also, if the devs are as busy as you think, they'll be working their butt off regardless of the comments they receive, that and a developer which cares is what I perceive to be a good developer.

The dev's are doing fine with the release of Omega. Not perfect, but Awesome. The best is yet to come, and i am super excited for what's ahead of us. This just gives me enough reason to thank the dev's and play harder for my favorite game of all time.

im not talking trash bout others at all, im just trying to stop and the moaning and whining about things they asked for and now dont want. beggers cant be choosers. and honestly i love omega. and onto your next point NDB i want people to stop complaining about omega as well, it just started they need to get accustomed to it. I'll bet you anything once tournament starts off they will find a reason to hate that too. anyways sorry for late response bud.

thats what makes this game so much better than others, because the players can actually interact with the devs, suggesting ideas to them and the devs will reply to that particular post if necessary, being a player you should also contribute and be part of the game, the devs don't think the same as countless others, their idea of fun may be boring to another player, they can't satisfy everyone but they will try to satisfy them as much as possible by taking in feed-backs, ideas etc..

you can be un-civil verbally, pretty much most of the imbalance are from players complaining, they rather say this is OP and that is UP than giving a detailed description of what is actually causing the problem in the first place, static charge got nerfed when it didn't have to be, due to players complaining because they don't have the right mind to make a good build to counter it, they cannot stand the fact that they are beaten due to them not understanding as much about how things work, and most of those that complain are non variums, who didn't have much of a chance winning a varium player anyways, when it was nerfed, cybers cannot compete as much with the other classes unless they use a strength build, same goes for mercenaries.

You are impossible to talk to. i didnt make this for people to come and try and beat on staff again like in every other topic. im just showing devs that they do a great job and deserve the support they desire.

Exactly. Coming from the weapon expert himself. You have had many suggestions implemented and i have a suggestion that they might implement in the future (donation cheevo)

Well if you want to just tell them about how great they are, PM them, or use twitter or whatever. The moment you decided to post it in the discussion forum you should expect people with different views as you to comment. A thread with only one point towards it doesn't make a discussion.

Yeah, it isn't easy to make a decision to set this update mostly on the f2ps. That was a decision that involves some factors of "gambling", which epicly requires the courage and wisdom to do so.

IMO it isn't bad to complain, but since you can complain for the wrong-doings you think they made, why can't you appreciate the awesomeness they made as well?

sorry dude the majority of posters in this thread may agree with this thread

but where it counts in game the majority dont agree the server numbers are low most ingame are constantly expressing their anger at omega at all it brought .

if just about everything isnt fixed fast the numbers will go extremely low . and their will be no variums left due to the fact the staff have burnt their bridges for the last time .

as i have said many times ED is in serious trouble . quite a few of the forumites are not happy with omega.

but thats not that important since a tiny % of EDs tiny player base actually use the forums . but when almost everyone in game is expressing anger . you know the games in serious trouble .
