i think there should be a credit version as well as varium version
because
1. It doesnt help in battle.
2. It has nothing to do with the stats
3. It is only for Style

And since it costs 1,100 varium
the credit version of this might be like (almost) 65,000 credits. ( as i calculated with the class change )

No. Devs have said this won't happen since it's a Varium luxury. Since it doesn't affect PvP, it will remain luxury - unlike Class Change which does affect PvP and had a Credit option added. Furthermore, unlike class change, name change reserves your previous name and takes a small part of database space so it's reasonable for it to remain a luxury.

By the way, it was already confirmed that name change will not be made into Credits. Nightwraith posted it on Twitter before but it was few months ago so finding the exact tweet is a tiresome process.

This is another one of those things that means something else needs to be stored in the database with your character, it is not too bad in comparison to things such as inventory slots etc. however it takes bandwidth, bandwidth costs money and therefore it is a paid feature. That being said, as Trans said, with the PvP things, most things have been made into two options, credit or Varium so the divide is not too great, other things such as name changes which do not affect battles and are nice extras are extras that Varium players do get as part of their privileges.
