I was thinking of this idea that a NPC should have a shop where he/she takes 3-5 weapons. Once he/she takes those weapons it will be recycled and it forges into one new weapon where you can take back. You cannot buy the recycled weapons from a shop. The only way you can get it is by recycling the weapons you don't use which will forge into a new weapon.
I think there should be a new NPC for this.
I think the devs should make about 5-10 weapons and when people recycle the weapons there is a percentage from getting the good recycled weapon which is rare to get to the normal recycled weapon. So it will be all about luck to get the best sword/club/claw/staff/mutation. As the game keeps on progressing, you could throw in more weapons as you are free to put in more weapons.
If one of the weapons is level 35 weapons & the rest was level 1 or 35, it should be a level 35 vice versa.
Basically the higher your weapon is, it will be to that level, so if your highest weapon was 27, it will be a 27 or a 22 it will be a 22.
Good points
-You cannot get them anywhere else, only from a shop
-It will give you one cool looking recycled weapon
Bad points
-If someone hacked into your account & recycled your rare weapons, you will be annoyed.
-Some people may be annoyed on not getting the best recycled weapons
-Again if you get hacked, your cores might have disappeared
Solutions
-You cannot put in any rares for the NPC
I would suggest putting numbers on the weapons if it is recyclable or not. if it says a number of 0, you cannot recycle it.
If it is possible, with the numbers you could make a percentage with that maybe.
say if a person gave 5 weapons with a number that added up to 10, then he may have 35% to get the best sword
(Weapon 1: 2, Weapon 2: 3, Weapon 3: 2, Weapon 5: 2)
-Well we cannot do nothing about that
-When you put it into the machine, your cores will still be there (If the devs can do that) since you have combined all 3-4 rubbish weapons into one.
Although IMO it will still be the same thing since if you did get hacked, it is like saying your weapons got sold which really we shouldn't be fussing about.
