Welcome everyone to the Second PvP Elemental Tournament! Click here to access and see the document showing who exactly will you be facing is this Shadow Tournament. Use this thread to discuss how the tournament is going, opinions and thoughts on what you want to see improved in the concept, discuss and coordinate the duels with your group opponents. But first read the information and rules below! GENERAL TOURNAMENT RULES AND GUIDELINES PvP group type tournament. Duel invitation only. Meaning that the players will be divided in groups and will have to challenge each other via the "Duel" option for each fight, one after the other. Each player will have to go up against the rest of the players in their group. Best of four matches for each individual duel. Besting an opponent by having the most matches won in a duel means one point received. The player with the most points from each group advances in the next tournament stage. Regarding each duel, if after four matches the score is tied, the matches will continue until one of the two players pulls ahead and gets a point in the overall group standings. If two players in a group are tied with the same amounts of points based on the duels they won, they will have to fight once again (best out of four matches advances to the next round). Duelists must use only characters of the element the tournament`s theme is. No level restrictions. Duelists can use any level character. (Disclaimer: Participating in the tournament could mean having to face a level 20 opponent, so be prepared!). No card customization restrictions. Duelists can use any CC cards they have at their disposal. Please link to a screenshot showing you winning the matches (Read this if you don`t know how to take a screenshot and upload it to a site). The only time screenshots are not needed is when both opponent recognize the victor between them. But it`s wise to take a screenshot of your every win, since there might be non-sportsmanship behavior. There is a 48 hour time frame for the duelists to show up and fight (based on the time stamp of the thread`s first post). Failing to do this, one or both will get an instant loss as in -1 points in their group overall standings. Only one player from each group will advance to the next tournament stage! All Artix Entertainment Forum Rules and Oversoul General Discussion Forum Rules apply in the tournament forum threads. This means no cheating accusation on the forums! If you feel like your opponent is cheating, please use the "Report" ingame function. Since this is a Forum Based Tournament, the winner will not be getting any recognition or perks ingame! Just bragging right on the forum. :-) The groups of duelists have been randomly generated using http://www.random.org/. All I had to do was to input the number of all the participants and click on "Generate" and group every four numbers received, Axel being #1 as in the first player to sign up and blackshock being #31 as in the last person to sign up. Regarding the Google doc we will be using, it has two pages. One for easily viewing the groups of players and to see each winner that advances in the next stage (click on the "Stages" tab in the bottom left of the document screen). And the other for viewing the current tournament standings (click on the "Table" tab in the bottom left of the document screen). So play well and have fun! :-)
