Now I'm wondering why a Peasent would be a threat to anything ever. Just because it has a lot of attack cards doesn't mean the Legendary can't combo with its own. If anything, Neutral, Light, and Water will become even tougher.

@Redinguard maybe not a threat, but it will be better than some characters when the combo bonuses are out, because it's going to do some damage with low charges, and the bonuses will make it more efficient.

@dual 5 100 attacks aren't exactly a nuke, and 5 hit combos with 500 attack are impossible to difficult to pull off.Nuless you are Void Incarnate, because it's a Nuke type character anyways.Maybe the bonuses will be different for each element, like Ice will have their shield cap at 2300 instead, or something like that.

Fire, shadow, and light rely little on attack cards so don't get many combos especially fire. I think spells that do direct damage like normal attack cards and pierces should count as the same sombo-wise and maybe made into two seperate hits so shadowfire and fireball don't become UP along with their elements.

I want to discuss a lot more but we can't state how game-changing of a feature it will be until it is fully released

Well it is physically impossible to have 5 100s unless you got some from CC :/

But yea, I would really like having effects rather than damage. Like ice having a 1 turn stun, or Darkness stealing 1 energy.

@Dual Having a one turn stun and stealing 1 energy aren't at the same level, maybe stealing 5 energy is though.

The Peasant is the combo attack monster. She has 18 cards that can be used in combos. Granted, 10 of them are Attack 100 and 2 are Pierce, but she might still become a fun character when the combo bonuses come out.

Water will actually be heavily UNDER powered even more, as it has few attack cards, and Water Rapid (the only damage card aside Water Flow, what is very rare) does not count in combos.

Weteye (above else) will not just be forgotten for insanely low appearance, low capture rate AND clone deck to a quest-character, with inefficient deck, unusable Fresh Start, but now also be shot and stomped on the neck for not being able to do combos.

Why is it that most of the master characters you train to level 20 and evolve to legendary, why do most of those have terrible decks, like Sword Warrior, Light Guardian, Father Hour, Archpriest of Ver, although Monk and Minotaur are pretty good.

The ranks don't necessarily mean anything but masters tend to be better than apprentice and veteran characters. It might be because they are supposed to be their best at legendary. So they make them a little weaker to make legendary more worth it or just the way things tend to be for no actual reason.

I agree that water is weak and needs a lot of help but a lot will change when all the features are rolled out then they can really focus on balance. Their plans may be different. I hate to use the beta excuse but anything can anything can happen right now but we a e testers and thi s isn't the final product so there will be problems.

Maybe they can hire some staff and volunteers to help with balance and everything not that I am saying it will be easy.

I personally can't even understand why the current version is 0.8+ considering the fact that about 80% of the evolutions are missing and we don't even have chaos characters , not to speak about their evolutions too.There are also close to no quests and the orc trust one is insanely diffictult and time-consuming as well.
That aside , I truly hope they make at least 70% of the end-tier evolutions free because me (and probably a lot of other people) would otherwise brand it as "pay to win" and not bother playing it.Unless they do something similliar to the Z-tokens in AQ - being able to obtain them although not very often.

I am Ballyhoo's #1 fan and I hope it happens. I think she should be a dual element lightning/earth character since for as long as I have played AQ she has had the forest axe and flaxe.

Maybe like DarkLore's suggestion but I don't think the Ballyhoo character should give free SGs in any shape way or form but gold on the other hand maybe small amounts upto 50 so not to make it OP.

Chaos only needs to appear, no need to fully evolve. But will mean real pressure if they'd plan to release its CC in the release-version, balanced etc....

Quests are what I don't consider real part of a beta. As long as they don't bury us under characters, what we have already might be enough.

Otherwise highly agreed with the rest, especially finding discouraging players to join when you see things like "Nulgath was banished to something called OS, but is now back", or "Oversoul Game Update v0.8.11: Themed Bike coming to Epic Duel!"


PS: the release-notes for May are still not avaiable to check...
