FrostWolv -> Way to not make it BORING (9/9/2013 13:50:27)

Hi played ED today after 5 months and met few old friends .... they were complaining about several things as usual but one of their complain,"I have done everything and feel bore after 10 battles"

ANSWER IS:

-=Rampage System=-

Try to get as high streak as possible:

1. Won first fight you will get normal credits
2. Won consecutively second fight, you will get extra +7 credits
3. Won three consecutive fight, you will extra get +(7+3) credits
4. Won four consecutive fight, you will extra get +(7+3+4) credits (incremental credits are easily to program)
5. So on...

On Each hour players with ten winning streak within that hour will get 250 credits

And Player with Highest streak will get Announced and Get 1000 credits (and achivo if applicable)

ND Mallet -> RE: Way to not make it BORING (9/9/2013 14:09:10)

The main reason I see people say the game is boring is because people copy builds instead of making their own build. People copy builds because they want a build that they know will win. People copy builds to win. Making incentives to winning is one thing, making incentives for winning constantly will make people stick to builds they know will win so they reap the benefits of these rewards. If you want to make things fun, then make incentives for changing things up. Maybe a smart system that gives you extra credits, win or lose, if it detects you've made moderate enough changes to your stats and skills. A system that could reward you for doing something ridiculous(but not something abusable) such as forgoing passives entirely(a moot point with the passives to actives release lurking around the corner) more than just changing your build from using Plasma Bolt to using Overload. It would, of course, need limitations so you can't go into a battle with default health, defense and resistance and reap in fast credits.

Well i know this game has may flaws -.-"
And many of us said about fast build, massive copy builds, luck etc etc

All I want from you people to give review how to improve my suggestion

Build copy was on and it will be on till ....
People will use fast builds but builds for faster wins ... But this suggestion will aid more for the ones who use build for better win ratio as it is about winning streak .... a continuous wins is what fast build doesnt have

Ya people will copy builds ... it cant be helped ..... even if this suggestion may not be seen they will still do copying stuff

This SUGGESTION IS ALL ABOUT HAVING LESS BORING TIME AND HAVE MORE CHALLENGES

Mother1 -> RE: Way to not make it BORING (9/9/2013 16:09:27)

Nope not supported.

Even though I see what you are trying to do, this will only promote copy building since this rewards winning builds. Everyone will want to reap the benefits and to do so they will copy winning builds that they know will win be it fast quick kill builds, or builds that are slow but get a better win rate. If anything this will make copy building worse and make the game even more boring.

CN2025 -> RE: Way to not make it BORING (9/10/2013 2:05:30)

i want agility back so many high hp builds :3

Exploding Penguin -> RE: Way to not make it BORING (9/10/2013 19:32:49)

I actually suggested this a while ago.

I realize now why it wasn't too great of an idea because it wouldn't promote exploring new builds that could possibly break your current streak, and forces you to stick with one safe build you know of.

drekon -> RE: Way to not make it BORING (9/11/2013 13:07:12)

ED simply needs to bring back some features that made the game exciting to begin with. Features like item drops and/or arcade, then improve on those by adding new features. Build copying is a factor as well, so limiting the visibility of the skill tree to the top 3 highest level skills and defense/resistance stats would be sufficient enough to prevent accurate copying of builds. These are fairly simple, but one must first be willing to take that step forward (and in a sense backwards :P) to satisfy most players.
