King FrostLich -> Item drops[now being implemented next week] (9/10/2013 6:42:30)

Seeing the game with so little players compared to last year is quite a sad thing. With every item having the same stats, former varium items were rendered 100% obsolete to every other item in the game. The removal of item drops was also a reason why people somehow lost incentive. Even though enhancing items were more expensive back then compared to today, the item drops gave everyone a luck reward if they win and made players feel appreciated especially those rusted weapons that gave some newbie players weapons or even the rusted assault bot.(highest prized item drop that time worth 4500 credits, now called Assault Bot P) With that removed, not only has it lost incentive but the requirement of now changing stats with credits was a ridiculous thing the moment they removed item drops. It made several people disappointed why the item drops were gone when enhancing/rearranging stats now costed credits just to reallocate stat points. In the devs' point of view, they were overlooking that since every item in the game will have the same stats, that means the rusted weapons(item drops) would be considered a free weapon therefore, giving anyone freebies. If that was a smart move, why not simply change item drops(weapons and rusted assault bot) into miscellaneous drops than removing it completely? The smartest move could have been simply modifying the item drops into 'special' rare artifacts found throughout battles(from Delta V as a storyline)that do exactly NOTHING but give credits. What every player's logic now is get the good stuff or cool-looking weapons to make themselves look "cool" in this game. If you think I'm devaluing varium with this suggestion, why not make more promos with better or unique cores that are available with 2500 varium package(4000 artix points) No one needs to buy $50 for same stats and different look. Who buys 10,000 varium nowadays? Long story short, return item drops with these suggestions: a.) Item drops modified, special artifacts(that do nothing) be sold for credits at 500-750 credits Since enhancing gear is cheaper now compared back in Delta, the value of these drops should be fairly lowered. b.) These item drops can be used for daily missions. That's right, if you're so smart as a developer wouldn't this be the best way to develop the daily missions quicker than you can think of any more ideas? c.) Return the hoverbike? This was said to be dropped back then though I've never heard of it getting dropped since the arcade removal. What's so bad of returning it? 1,000+ credits sellback can't even harm the game compared to recent balance updates. The arcade is returning with item drops. This suggestion is no longer needed then.
