I suggested the same thing to AQ and AQW

Each month, an Investment of Trust token will be sold by Hank. The token will cost 100 varium and will transform into an awesome new item at the end of the month, but heres the catch: no hints will be released about what the item will be except for the staffmember who is designing that months item. Neither the token nor the item can be sold so the players who invest in it must put all of their trust in the items artist. Once the token has transformed, the item produced will never be available again!

I feel like people would buy it anyways even if they don't like the design, so maybe make this "monthly collectible" cost more varium/credits?

At 100 varium, it is easily accessible to all players. Say that it had a 1,000 credit variant and it was locked to your level, there'd be a lot less underequipped players. Good idea. Supported.
