maybe the younger players dont like the concept of oversoul
sure its in beta but it may be difficult for younger players , whereas aqw isnt hard at all

The concept of OverSoul isn't that complicated, the problem is that nobody wants to play. There's too much fighting brain dead cpus and too little battling players. Imagine every MMO without PVP or the ability to play together and you get OverSoul.

i feel sorry for the testers tbh , i was talking to sage and he said he gets all the characters once there released.... that takes the fun out it

Not really, you're helping the game and you get to play as anything because you have limitless Soul Gems and every character.

Probably because PvP matches put level 1 and 20s together and there are some who can afford to buy CC until they get good cards and some who can't. I also don't want more difficult A.I., as if battles aren't slow enough. 606 battles to get to level 20 with the A.I. using all their cards effectively and charging properly would take forever.

Battling cpus to level up is another part of the problem, that's boring as holy fishcakes after the 5th or 6th character above 15 (esp if you don't have exp boost) and without people battling pvp it turns the game into a chore that eats up time better spent on other things. Need consuation prize for being 5 levels under your opponent. Need exp penalty for leaving matches and overall losing exp needs to be increased. Getting close to no exp for losing gives no incentive to try if you don't think you have a chance at winning.

the game isnt purely about pvp .... so battling cpus is the simpler option

In EpicDuel, because fighting NPCs gave the same exp/credits as fighting human players there were many who spent nearly all of their time fighting computer than fighting human players which left for a lack of players in pvp. This game is in a similar situation only on a more extreme level where its less efficient to fight human players and more computer.

Fighting NPCs in EpicDuel is still an option but only for credits, there is no exp or win count for NPCs anymore encouraging for more pvp play.

OverSoul does not need to remove anything from pve play but it does need to add something to encourage pvp, with the way it is now, what reason is there to pvp?

I said it before, but PvP shouldn't be the main focus of the game when X-Boosts give such an advantage. That's 690% gold and experience, ensuring those players many level 20s and their choice of CC. It's possible for free players of course, but that's a poor excuse when it's 7 times slower. Most AE games just give double experience; the amount of bonus gold and experience players can get here is just ridiculous especially since it's supposed to be a PvP game.

The lobby did change to the Halloween lobby which is nice and we have a lot of ice monster in solace all of a sudden as well.

Solace PvE is back to normal, some how switching the background messed with the monster pool and it was using the north map to pull from, but now it is back to normal.

I was getting Princess Ghypsophila and Ice Nomad for a few fights with the Halloween lobby. Then they did server reset since it get me out of fight and looks like they corrected the monster spawns.

Anyone else hoping abomination is a boss for a new quest?

Nulgath's a pretty good artist Jop. He's pretty much replacing Revontheus until they possibly hire a new one. Not a bad thing though. Nulgath's art rocks! Revontheus's does too! I'm sure Nulgath will make her look even more epic than Revontheus would have. (No offence Rev.[;)])
