I think that is exactly what it is sadly, and while this will keep players busy I will feel really bad for those players who get to the top quickly. Those players will have an even harder time finding opponents due to slower players still leveling up.

sadly ( l do think it is great for higher levels ) sadly l do not think this will bring the old players back in groves but some may come back. like mother said l do think the updates will happen not as fast as we would like, but it will keep players playing until all updates are done that is why they did a 40th level cap.

Mother's post is my worry right now, and I'm finding more of an issue with the fact scaled Exp/Credit rewards still can't be done yet - they weren't doable back in Delta, from what I was told. Eh.

40 - 1 (default level) = 39 skill points.

you're right void should have been 41 so ploayers can get 4 skills to max... if they want to xP

It seems like it won't be a hard time to level up. So what's the real reason for the level cap being raised?
Is it what Mother1 posted?
Is it because people wanted the level cap to be higher?
OR is it because AE finally let this happen?

Being the first players to become Level 40 does have advantages - more stat points than the opponent. Anyways, I'm looking forward for this 'Legendary Update' as always. Whenever EpicDuel does something big, there are delays because of testing. Hopefully this time, there aren't delays. [:D]

level 40 doesn't mean a whole lot when nobody will reach it due to not playing thanks to horrible balance... just saying

So level cap should not be raised because people will want to achieve it fast? That makes no sense or whatsoever. It's people's choice to abuse, and blaming Devs for it isn't anywhere near even logical.

"Let's blame Devs who can't control the players, to force them to be creative! Such logic!"

Or my personal version, from Dev's POV:
"Let's blame the players who can't win and complain about bad balance, instead of writing up a logical argument (aka, constructive feedback), or fixing their build and using their brain instead of mindless abuse!"

Lol keep in mind that if this release is delayed by two-three weeks, as the winter release is coming this Friday, there will be balance changes probably this week and in the weeks that follow. Yes, balance is bad atm and everyone plays BH, will this necessarily be the case in a few weeks? I doubt it.

I hope this will include new areas / npcs and a progression of the story a little bit. Just raising cap and expecting us to continue mindlessly beating each others faces in does not sound exciting.

Dual ur lvl 35 at the moment and considering last time they raised the lvl cap it takes a week for some exp boosters to lvl up after that they get bored and thats ur time to catch up ! power hour works too :0

I've tweeted NW about the curve and scaled Exp/Credit rewards, which were discussed back in Delta, but weren't feasible to do due to engine limitations. *the initial idea was suggested by Titan and Rabble themselves, so it's something they intended to do*
