@Depressed Void, I think they get enough feedback from twitter and the forum already. Besides, having polls regardig balance, etc. IG could potentially mislead the devs, imo.

This means every single point is guaranteed to give you increase in damage or defense, due to bigger numbers - instead of investing from 4 to 6 stat points to see an increase.

HP/EP is going to be X10. I like this! Also, other things get increased to fit this change.

Plus, it seems like we'll only need 6690 Experience (558 1v1 wins) to become a Level 37 player. This is based on the fact that each win gives you 12 Experience points.
This picture does indeed tell you a lot of information. Just look at the Robot damage, it's got +33. For the Armor, I don't know if it's from the Armor or Hybrid Armor.

lol , this photo shows that when the exp is rescaled the current lvl 36 will be at lvl 40 unless they reduced our exp.

also i like the idea of increasing the hp/ep so fights can be somehow longer , means lower luck factors and better rewards.

edit: but using his stats as sketch shows a very unstable curve between damage and defence since with 55 tech he has enough resistance as the damage of 76 str.

i hope they redo the formulas as they don't apear to be quite fine.

also his use of black abbys gear tells me there is something going to happen about them , maybe finally balanced.

"Hawk Guardian" looks like it might be a passive core? :0

Edit: Or perhaps it is an active core with no EP cost, instead it only works when you're at 25 % HP or something.

It may be passive; activates on Strike at certain HP range (%-based). Although, free could be good enough; although, easier to abuse as last resort. I dunno. I'm fine with either.

it can also be an attack like exile soldier exept extra damage is based of hp lost , like 15% of lost hp as damage.

Looks like the special attack for Blood Hawks will be the same as Black Abbys', though. But instead of increasing every turn, it probably lowers your defences in one blow.

They did say the curve will be smoother at all levels. Legendary Mode will keep you entertained instead, or starting alt characters. Also, players will level up faster which solves the massive player gap between 30 and 36; player match-ups.

I'm a bit disappointed the new Bot will likely be ~the same as the previous one, but at the same time, this means those who've purchased Black Abyss promo will miss out on weapons only; the two Bots may work differently (one takes time for full effect, and the other does it at once but weaker to compensate for it?), but still be "the same".

My concerns exactly.
Just saw the pic of the promo pack, and the robot effect is way too similar to the spider bots.
I guess they lack ideas and inspiration for new effects.

I mean, it's not that bad - they did say two promos were too close together and will offer the items in-game (for Varium only?), thus not making it a great loss for those who did purchase the Black Abyss package. Those who didn't due to the poor deal (comparing Black Abyss vs. the new one), are in luck.

But I can't judge on the description only. It sounds very alike but who knows how it'll work.

@Trans, Fingers crossed the description of its special is poorly explained, as some bot specials already have inaccurate descriptions. I really doubt they would make two bots do the exact same thing, but it could be the case :/

While I was off the game, I checked out the news at the games' official facebook page, devs twitter accounts, I was fascinated with the huge amount of ne features, I couldn't even keep up with all those great features, what I noticed is, devs work harder when they feel there is a pressure on them, why they didn't rise caps earlier this year, why they didn't add reboot skill trees and reboot everything overall, just because they thought players were fine with the game as it is, my message is, to be the best, you have to work hard even you think it's not needed. ED devs felt the end is near, so they picked up the level, what if they did that earlier, we could of reached better things by now..

@Trans, I actually would be pissed if the new robots were having an effect that's very similar to what you just bought with a promo, whilst those robots will be offered in game.

Glad I didn't bought the spider promo.
The description looks awfully alike, tho it might have a different way to work, still, I would be pretty pissed. xD

Or... they've had other projects that were more important? With two people doing the coding, bigger features take months (behind the scenes) so they couldn't release it earlier. Mission Overhaul took months for Charfade and the rest, to complete; since start of Omega till its release.
Skill-tree change was meant to go live in June, IIRC, but it needed more time to test. Looking at it now, it was for the better - or players would complain about poor testing and imbalance. That one also took months to work on WITH ongoing projects (weekly releases, side projects, etc.).

This isn't something they've thought of on the spot, and coded in a week or two.

@Mysterion.
Let's just wait. If they are almost the same, I'm 50/50 about it - reasoning in my previous post. It may work in a different way - such as "debuffing" your opponent and increasing your total damage dealt by set % (all skills and weapons alike). It's actually one of the skills I've suggested earlier last week, in the Balance section. ^^

I think it's plausible the Blood Hawk's special will decrease more defence in one blow while dealing less damage than Black Abbys Bot, which already deals about... not sure, 70-80 % damage on its special? Still disappointing if this is how it works, but what can you do.

The new development and features are basically a flow on effect from all the hard work that Titan and his team did this time last year with the Omega launch. With Omega the whole point was to replace the inefficient game structure with something that they could move forward with. The devs aren't working harder, they are just working smarter with the new structure that enables them to build features and add content a lot quicker :)

I am looking forward to the massive balance changes and expect that the game will feel totally different after the update.
