I think the best balance in terms of stats overall was the time before or after the 2nd wave of stat diminishments that affected strength/support. I think making passive skills active made sense except that many people are investing in energy-related skills and the energy flow problem is not solved at all. Scaling HP and MP the way they did was a good idea.

Is it just me or does anyone else think that the AQworlds arcade has way too much bronze prizes relating to Beleen and her pinkness. The pink yeti is amazing tho.

Right, given that STR builds are dominant, I'll like to ask what changed to make them so effective, particularly since weapon damage was nerfed recently. Only one I can think of is removing passive armours.

And, I assume the issue is STR, not BH. Going further, is even STR an issue, given that such builds don't seem to be uncounterable, and if so, what can we do about it? More stat diminishing/nerfing? We really don't want to kill STR builds off altogether, and I want to let market forces (i.e. players being forced to innovate and adapt) have their chance before dev intervention (which should only occur, in terms of balance, in times of market failure, and we don't know if the market has failed or if it's just slow to adjust)

It's been a disappointing year playing EpicDuel. I just can't be bothered to play hours anymore, it's lost its touch on me. Start of Delta as a BH, the account was a newbie. I got around 4-5000 wins or so before I bought Varium. I wasn't the kind of guy who challenged NPCs at that time, I started only after December. Then on, I stopped after a month then I went back to NPCs after a few months. Omega has been disappointing; a very low amount of wins, IMO. In a year, I believe that I only got wins that I would in a month in the past. Very, very disappointing for me. Hopefully the next year changes everything - if I still play the game, that is.

Only reason strength is one of the highest stat especially for bounty is one because of smoke next just basic strike causes more damage without energy than Plasma Rain especially in 2vs2 and with rage gain faster with regular strike than anything else all they have to do is strike strike strike than at rage launch the infernal android and because that is all they do mindless skill less wins people are gett5ing bored and tonight I have seen less than 700 players on one server and until they do something about the same mind less skill less moves the population will diminish even further.

Today I have not seen any Blood Mages, why is that?

Having a skill to take away energy and give back energy for 3 rounds is great but compared to other energy steal/regaining skills it is weak and inefficient. Players will say Plasma Rain is fine but how many players put any points towards it, none because it is too weak for the amount of energy required to use in 2vs2. Plasma Cannon does decent damage but for a class with sub-par energy regain it cost too much energy for decent damage especially when other classes could take away 300+ energy. Overload only at max I get the most amount of stuns and there again energy cost. Intimidation even at max does nothing with strength at max when the player has +30 on top of the regular stat. Super Charge a skill that costs a lot of energy that if you have enough by the time you get to use it, that is if your not dead by then. Fire ball even at high strength is a pitifully weak skill. The problem as before is that the Blood Mage has no skills to buff strength or tech base skills and reflex boosts buffs dex but not enough to give that power need to the high energy eating skill of Plasma Rain. The Blood Mage has a huge disadvantage by being a high stat/ energy reliable class.

One thing that would be interesting have the Plasma Cannon shot two players at once without damage reduction.

I saw some BM's today, but at the same time though with all the bugs that where left in the game all the classes were affected.

The multi bug where it cost more energy to use Artilley strike, plasma rain, and Multi shot has crippled multi builds even more than ever. Plus the bug with energy parasite is hurting variety with Blood mage as well. While Blood mage is my second least favorite class, I would never wish the misfortune it is having on any class.

Bounty hunters thanks to all the nerfs they got now mostly use 2 builds. Tech abuse and strength BH. Anything else I don't even see in game which is sad.

I could list a ton of things that is destroying variety in the game but I won't.

tech mages assim drains all my gain energy from static grenade then he heal loops using the energy from battery backup and theres no way i could counter it since static is in cool down . please buff our energy regain by 10%

Why does backup battery have a 4 turn cool down compared to static grenade's 3? That doesn't seem very fair. Or has it always been like this and I haven't noticed?

Seems unfair... How much Energy does it give you? At Level 1, it gives you one of the least Energy you can get compared to other Skills. At Level 10, it gives you one of the highest - if not, the highest.

I wish Posts could express my frustration about the fact we are going into week 2 with a broken BloodMage class...
and the fact I'd either get banned or post removed if I do express my frustration frustrates me even more

@Silver it became this way when they nerfed support to the ground and decreased the effect of a critical strike

I mean to say the best balance in terms of stats and the numbers they represented was before Omega came and made HP scale by 1. That was when there were less and less players and more nerfs/ and complains about balance. The 10x update was the best thing to have happened to balance since passives--->Actives.

edward even if battery has got a 4 turn its because it gains massive energy our static grenade drains it and gains like 100 then we get drained by maxed out assim that drains 220 now how is that fair ? why do you think its at 4 you say its because thay also have asssimilation which gains a bit as well

In theory if the tm and the bh are both using swords, then it would be unfair.
But when the tm uses a staff with a trained assilimination, it becomes unfair? Only way to counter it is an energy skill involving laws and bring BB's cooldown to 3, but then again, that would homogenize the classes.

I don't even see a point of me commenting on this anymore.
Anyways, I hope everyone enjoyed this update because, it was one of most visually appealing balance fixes in a long time.
Be sure to check out my suggestion+thread about removing loses. I don't want to defend it anymore. I think it could either speak for itself or someone else can. I have better things to do with my time. Bye. I'm signing off the forums. (I'll still be semi-active in-game)

I actually ran into a level 38 tm with a sword using a dex-str build. He used plasma rain, bludgeon, and fire scythe. Killed me quick. It was a smart build.

I am a TM, I play 2 vs 2, and I am not a caster TM. While a lot of the higher level TM's are casters (since that is what the flavor of the week build is for TM) not all of them are casters in 2 vs 2.

most of em and when im suppose to be winning they out last me cause of heal looping and dont tell me its because i let them its not because i use static gren. and yet they still have enough energy for a heal since they have 2 energy gain sources instead of one

this is the current order in 2v2 imo :P
TM heal loop with infinit energy
BH good combo
merc bunker crit always gets me
BM para site is bugged but still good . tlm on par with bm
cyber is lame no synergy at all
