Um...I think you'll find Aqueous has 2 water crash cards.
So...it's not a really a new card..plus you'll find it in CC water i think...

No problem Survivor, little late but I tried [8D]

So far I am finding that the only card I find almost pointless on Dynasty Warrior is the Fresh Start card, unlike with the year of the horse who has two power flow cards and can use fresh start to its full effect, I am finding on DW it is more then not a wasted card... wish you could remove cards from deck sets xD (I know you can add power flow cards through the CC, but that would ruin the feel of the DW card flow imo)

I disagree; Fresh Start is an integral water character deck; if you could always add more Power Flow to the Warrior, or even more heals, and that Fresh Start helps you charge the deck.

I almost forgot to welcome you back to OS forum, Welcome Back!

There is always CC, you can equip another Power Flow to his deck so Fresh Start will be very useful towards you.

Then I must not be using the water decks properly, even when I try and use up all my energy and then pop a fresh start card I find that with the dropping of two other cards I am almost always forced to redraw cards and at that point I have effectively charged my energy levels anyway...

Thanks! [:D] It has been entirely too long but it is nice to be back! As I tried to put in my edited post above, I know I can add cards with CC, but if I am going to do that then I might as well use YotH instead. As I was saying to Beck, I can really only see a point of using FS when I have two PF's in my deck, use one, and pop FS to recharge, then drop the next one on turn two, other then that it feels like a very specialized card because of the two card discard. I am a much bigger fan of the energize card for the lightning decks.

Then again, I am very rusty since it has been so long so cut me some slack either way ok guys? BTW: I brought cookies as a welcome back to everyone! [:D]

Yeah, you were away for a year! xD You got tons of stuff to catch up with last year's releases. For the CC, YotH is sure really worth it but he have a weakness which Dynasty Warrior don't have which is the cost effective. Characters with low energy cost cards win against characters with high energy cost cards in PvP and we saw that happening.

Edit: Sure, I won't go on with this since its each players' own ability of playing with each characters.

I can already tell I have lots to catch up on, but at least I'll have a bunch to keep my busy! xD If want you are saying is true about lower cost characters excelling (and it does makes sense) then wouldn't adding some PF's be a drawback in and of itself? AHHH!!! Finding the balance is going to be extremely hard right now as I'm so out of the loop!! At least I still have my level 20 FC and Pumpkin Lord, they didn't raise the level cap did they???

Oh, and I wasn't getting offended, I was only kidding about cutting me some slack, sorry if that came out wrong! :S

Adding CC increase the characters' offense and defence but there is a disadvantage. It will decrease the chance of drawing the cards you need. Maximum CC you can equip is 5. They did not increase the level cap and I hope they won't.

Agreed on the level cap, and after trying out my main favs for each element again I have found there is a lot of changes... here is what I have come to notice:

Fire: While still very offensively powerful, they are not as OP blast away as they used to be, still very fun, but not as "Hardcore" as they were.
Ice: My Frost Queen just doesn't feel right anymore... The change to the defense cap happened before I left to go get married, but now she just feels almost TOO slow...
Energy: Very fun and much more offensive then I remember! With a few CC changes to Hex Void's build and he becomes an absolute monster! LOVE IT
Water: Still getting the hang of water, however I am liking the new characters so time will tell. (this was my least used element before I left)
Light: FC still feels great, not the most dangerous character around, but he doesn't feel weak either so I don't have any issues with Light as it stands
Shadow: Doesn't feel any different from what I remember... poison still wrecks face and some epically looking characters to boot
Earth: OMG I am LOVING this element now!!! Feels like a perfect balance of hardcore defense with some smashingly powerful attacks to boot! Most skills flow very well together, almost feels like you can't go wrong when playing this element. By far my favorite element now!
Neutral: CC helps with many of the Neutral character builds imo. As the element implies, very neutral flow, not too OP but not bad either.
Chaos: ???? Over a year and still no chaos characters??? For real???

Please keep in mind that these are very preliminary impressions from someone who has been away for quite some time, I am not saying that these opinion are right or valid in anyway, more so just that it is what I have noticed from what I remember being the case before I left.

@bman Yeah, ideal Fire hands are basically shield, DoT, Fireball/Incinerated attack of some sort. Not the Fireball spam like it used to be, but I think it's still pretty cool. PL is not as good because more DoTs have been added which ignore the Counters you put up, so I like my Arcane Ranger, oddly enough the way I play my Fire and Neutral characters are very similar.

Yeah, my PL feels like he is in some serious need of CC help [:(]

But I will make it work, just have to fine tune what CC I want balance out the flaws he suffers from now.

@bman Most Notably, a lack of Neutralize, which really helps with all those high costs cards the element has, which is usually why People like Taro more than PL. Or you could just CC a bunch of 500 attacks, and make it one of those characters.CC really gives you freedom on how you play a character, doesn't it?

It really does, and that is great because it stops this game from being one of those games where there are one or two characters who are part of the competitive circuit while the rest are just left to rot in someone's inventory. And while there are some characters that are just not very good, the balance in this game and the CC allowed makes many still very effective and not just one or two for each element.

Edit: Just to clarify, Santa Warlic was just an NPC right? You couldn't obtain him somehow could you?!? o_O
