More players doesn't always translate to higher/guaranteed chance to win. There will always be an alignment which will lack players at a certain range - I think, before, Exiles had a lot in L30+ whilst Legion players had a lot more just below L30. *or the other way round* AQ has had a handful of these kind of wars. Even though it's a single player game, two-sided wars exist. Paladins vs. Necromancers resulted in Necromancers winning, whilst Paladins had around 7-10% advantage at some point. Latest Vampires vs. Werewolves was the same, Vampires were losing 97%-94%, but by the time Werewolves got to 99%, Vampires were also at 99% - although, Werewolves still won. Number advantage will sure help, but there's also determination and... real-life luck, when some players can't get on due to personal reasons. Strategy may help too (such as picking one objective and focusing solely on it). We'll see - not much can be said with the info in DNs only.
