We all noticed how in Omega battles became alot faster, unless some cases, in 1v1, battles will all last from 1 to 5 minutes.If I meet a stronger player, our battle will still last 2 minutes.What do I mean with this?I mean that now most of the people would save their effort to do more battles rather than investing it to beat a stronger opponent.Also the ranks, the level gap and the flaw of many wepons they release are discouraging thinking in battle.
In this way, the gameplay becomes pretty boring for evryone, new and old players won t learn the game mechanics, and with all the changes they make, the playerbase goes drastically down.
In my opinion this is something devs shuld really take care of: helping out new players with their experience and incouraging older ones to improve their skills.
If battles were slower evryone would have to do their best to win or they would be wasting time and effort.Unexperienced or underpowered players would have more chances to win too, focusing the mistakes their opponents might do in a longer period of time.
All of this can be done in many different ways.Personally, I d remoove ranks and cap the matchmaking to 1 level difference, I d prefer to wait 15-20 seconds for a battle, that would last longer and be fair and rewarding.
For this to be possible we need further balance fixes to allow longer battles (nerfing wepon s damages and buffing skills, energy and defences?) and a rework to battle rewards, also the leaderboards would get affected by this, but who cares, they re already messed from npc wins.
What do you think?Battles shuld last longer or not, and why?
