spoiler:

That is indeed a very solid point you make. I find it justified.

Hmm... A Weremonkee (as opposed to a Weremonkey) is indeed a disturbing creature.

Faerdin -> RE: =DF= Friday the 13th - Full Moon War Stories and Poetry Discussion (6/22/2014 5:40:06)

spoiler:

In all seriousness, though, I do not know what Faerdin would be talking to Melissa about. But I do know that he would be intent upon closely questioning Raven about Espina Rosa once he managed to corner her. And if questioning her did not work, he may resort to other methods of extraction. After all, he needs all the information he can get to free Aurauris, and that is his highest priority.

spoiler:

I don't think we'll get the opportunity to probe Raven's case any further unless the Staff decides to have her be an official NPC of Amityvale. Nothing can be said about her at this point.

I can safely say that wars cultivate a miniature renaissance. Everyone has a story to tell, and do they know how to tell it.

Wars bring out so much more than just the fight. When people say they do not want wars here's what they are disagreeing to:

1) No DF Forum discussion where we talk, and work together (DF community coming alive to team-up) 4-5 threads are a common sign of a team-up occurring. That's 30 pages for each one.
2) No drive to strive and achieve the goal or side task of completing the war by a certain time in order to gain something they could value later on (equipment, classes, survival, or an entire town)
3) No war stories...where would I be without them?

Those are just off the top of my head.

Would you even know half of these people without war stories? Think about it, some people (such as myself and many other more talented individuals) are known for their work within the forums...but also know how to tell a good story!

It's true, the minute I joined the forums people were telling me about the amazing stories they wrote together, and of the epic tales woven by Nixxy :D

But wars are not only a place for bloodshed. I personally don't participate much in wars because I'm lazy, but also because it makes light of how serious war actually is. The main reason I do like wars, is because you always meet new people, and because everyone's creative side is revealed. Everyone has a tale to tell, however some are just more shy than others. Wars really let those shy people blossom
