I guess I should write a bit about myself before spamming pictures, I started playing AQ I believe just as the great fire war ended but I had no idea what was going on and didn't really understand how awesome it was. I believe the most visually appealing AE game is DF but AQ is still my favourite as the necromancer armor in DF though cool is a big jump from a traditional necromancer, I was also a little let down by the necropolis release I expected interactive minion making (as hinted at in dev notes) and a lot more depth. As you can probably guess I'm a fan of undead stuff I think it appeals to me because of the taboo and the moral dilemmas associated with it eg: raising a small town's cemetery to buy time for the living citizens to escape from raiders.

I study animation and games design at uni and work part time as a (insert official job title of task delegating/caffeine provider) basically boss tells me stuff and I tell the people who do it to do it [:'(], I would like to say I'm proficient in Photoshop, Flash, Illustrator, Publisher, After Effects, Maya, 3DS Max and Mudbox but that would only be half right as anything in 3D after modeling and texturing goes way over my head. AE heavily influenced my early drawing career and as soon as I saw there was an art gallery here I figured I should show my stuff, I wont be able to post often with uni but I will try and add something new every week. Most of the stuff I put there will be 2D and maybe some 3d if I get some free time I might even do a short 3d animation when I'm on break ( not sure if video links are allowed will have to check).

-note for AK/Mods
I will do my best to keep my images within the level of "fantasy violence" (or whatever the rating system name is) shown in AE games and to my knowledge for creature and character design its quite open as long as there are no visible internal organs or blood, please correct me if im wrong[:D]

I also have a feeling my pictures are on here the wrong way but my forum wizardry lvl isn't high enough to know better :)

My second ever hand study, bones on the hand grasping the sword are off but other than that I'm happy

This is my little tribute to Ray Harryhausen, I was just figuring out shading and lighting at the time ( I've got it now) but I think it turned out ok considering [:D]

I hear you. I still have nightmares about rigging
Rigging isn't actually that hard- if you enjoy heavy maths, complicated systems, and attaching piece of your soul to the rig to avoid dependency loops.

Well, if that was a rule, they've bent it here.

I like your T-rex. And your hand studies.
Please post more stuff
