you will regret not trying it and i am trying to explain how and why
lengthen the health to X2.7
spamming defence attributes for powerful attacks is not effective in the long term soltuion to win with long hp because the cost of upkeep will catch up with them and their winning progress will be steep
with the combination of health steal and defense we are afraid of that persons defience of going to die. if the game were to have what i ask the bounty and bloods classes will survive 2.5-3 rounds and if they have the new releases their is more damage so rewarding them with 1 or 2 more rounds 3-5 turns in total least to greatest if they don't miss out on using their gear

we all know if the opponent is a higher level they have more points and if they are more efficient with the points then the battle will be a strugle but what if you release tech weapon based on percentage to take tke down overpowered levels
by doing this you give players an act of redemption
at maximun strngth should deal 8 percent damage
then give all players 10 percent mana replenish per turn dis regarting points on mana
I greatly encourage you to test it some way but keep in record the games current condition to turn it back to normal if you don't like which is the last thing on my mind.

in general hp leaves room for redemption, releases, turn missings, cores, doulbe poison, consquences of losing health.
you get to you get your progress of winning straigten out before they die
