Lord Machaar -> A bug or a hack (8/29/2015 3:52:19)

It is one of the two and doesn't need a template, I had 356 Hp, while my opponent Paranoid Freak dealt exactly with his Infernal Android 178 + 177 damage which means 355 damage, yet I died? How is that even possible?

Same player again, and out of nowhere, 2 blocks, like for god sake can someone explain this game to me because frankly I lost it here, what game do we play in now?
Do NW and titan wake up each and every morning so they can decide who to piss off? Like it has been 5 years and I'm trying to understand this game's mechanics but sincerely, this game, you just can't understand it.

And I still demand the devs to check numbers, because I'm more than sure there is something wrong, since the block/def chance was set to go down to 0% when there is a bigger difference, the system/engine has litterally lost its mind.

.Lord Ginger. -> RE: A bug or a hack (8/29/2015 8:03:33)

178+177 isn't possible. It's either 177+178, 178+178 or 178+179...

Edit. 0% is like 60 more dex or something like that. Check wiki for numbers

shadow.bane -> RE: A bug or a hack (8/29/2015 12:23:35)

guess its 178 - 178 cause as ginger said damage grow bigger not lower .. or same in both but never lower in the second hit .

Lord Machaar -> RE: A bug or a hack (8/29/2015 12:36:14)

178 177 or 177 178, which matters to me is that the total damage dealt was 355 while I had 356 HP. I said 178 first because it was the last Ive seen, but ofcourse the damage dealt was 177 first then 178.

To get your opponent's block and deflect chance to 0% you need to have 50 more dex/tech, yet this is not my concern, I'm talking abouthow block/deflecting mechanics have changed after they implemented this, before this change, when you have more dex/tech than your opponent, your opponent could block/deflect your attacks but only once in battle, now with this change, your opponent could block/deflect your attacks up to 2 times even though you have more dex/tech, therefore why they did this is to compensate the block/def % taken from your opponent when you have 50 more dex/tech than him so the thing here is:
- having >50 dex/tech than your opponent: block/def chance is 0% down from 2%
- having <50 dex/tech than your opponent: block/def chance is X% (depending on the difference) + 2% compensation.

This results in more blocks/defs by your opponent even though you have more dex/tech, up to 2, whether you have 49 or 1 more dex/tech, doesn't matter to the system and this is something that I find absurd. same thing can happen if both players have same dex/tech.

I played the game before this change and after it and I know for sure something have changed, something they didn't mention in the DNs besides lowering down the block/def chance to 0%.

8x -> RE: A bug or a hack (8/29/2015 14:48:07)

Before Omega, 1 hp was the least you could have before you got killed. I wonder it they forgot to change this and the minimum hp before you die is actually 10. Has anyone ever had less than 10 hp? (I'm asking because I have no idea, since I don't play anymore)

InFlamed Fury -> RE: A bug or a hack (8/29/2015 23:17:19)

I've been in plenty of cases where me and/or my opponent have had <10 Hp.

Majority of the time it's been on 1 Hp.

Foulman -> RE: A bug or a hack (8/30/2015 1:20:50)

Had that happen as well.

Exploding Penguin -> RE: A bug or a hack (8/30/2015 1:25:02)

I'm not entirely sure, but it might be weird decimal rounding. I know that ED always displays some numbers as rounded up when they are a decimal (351.1 HP displays as 352) but I don't know if that applies the same way to IA lazor as well.

If there's an inconsistency it could be the source of this problem.

There is no 2% compensation. But there are base chances which are different for block and deflection.
The character who has 50 more Technology than the opponent should have a deflection chance of 20%.
This does not include cores.
