Mastercraft bonus is used for the Defence Loss effect.

All this has ALREADY been factored in to the above numbers.

That bonus part is written in twice on the guardian one?

New Golden Giftbox item: Chickencow Clone. Kam says:

Pet, follows player element and damage type (Melee/Ranged/Magic). Multi-element is -5% damage or +5% cost per element compressed, along with another -5% damage or +5% just for the fact there IS compression. MC covers one of these, and I'm making this double cost (so negates the GGB discount) for a total of 35% worth of penalties that need to be accounted for. Going with -15% damage and +20% cost. Normally pets don't have a cost, so need to have it as an SP cost worth that much of pet damage. 20% pet damage is 8% Melee, so SP cost is 8% Melee. If you can't pay the SP (Paid at start of turn or when pet is equipped, refunded at end of battle if pet didn't attack that turn as well as when unequipped), then the pet does 0 damage.

DESCRIPTION
A clone of you that is wearing powerful Chickencow armour! It will deal damage of the same element and type as your weapon, but is weaker than other pets and requires some of your SP each turn to attack!

Got this. ~Carandor

Shiba -> RE: Pets/Guest - Read the first post! (2/24/2016 2:49:20)

Can it do Harm damage?

It SHOULD be able to, as long as your weapon is Harm. ~IMR

Blackhawke guest.

Guardian-only. Instead of a Guardian bonus, he seeks between Wind and Darkness for free.

Attack is two Melee hits, +5 BTH lean.

BR Lean: 1/3

Is he supposed to be doing 0 Damage? does he get an effect for it?

may we get proper info subs for the Chickenclow Clone? considering the change on upkeep and the possibility of damage penalty being moved around as well

@above. that doesn't help when wanting to make sure what is the current damage penalty the item takes... it's good to have a link to it though, might help when carandor gets to making the encyclopedia entry

Ianthe -> RE: Pets/Guest - Read the first post! (3/5/2016 23:55:06)

-15% damage penalty.

TRB1965 -> RE: Pets/Guest - Read the first post! (3/6/2016 23:30:14)

I know this is going well back, but I don't see info subs for the Scion guest (unless I'm missing them somehow)>

Over in the spell section: http://forums2.battleon.com/f/fb.asp?m=21945521 found via forums search function looking for "Scion". There was also an EC topic for it.

Copying Kam's dev notes:

Call Scion

@afterlifex - but that entry doesn't give the damage information for the guest.

Compare that entry to to entry for Poutine Golem.

KlawdStrife -> RE: Pets/Guest - Read the first post! (3/7/2016 10:01:02)

@TRB

When it's not stated it's assumed to follow the Standard Guest Information.
Occasionally imry or kam post guest info subs like that.

Ianthe -> RE: Pets/Guest - Read the first post! (3/10/2016 1:58:18)

From the Void Challenge: Keyote pet. Kam says:

quote:

Keyote pet

Fire pet, maybe have one of the attacks paralyse the enemy with love as an MC.

... That's not really helpful, Kam. Um, okay. You can click on his staff to select whether or not he uses his Paralyse attack or his Damage attack.

Damage attack is four hits, Magic Fire. It does +5% damage.

Paralyse attack is two hits. It does -50% damage. Afterwards, there's a 0.37*[monster Fire resist]*[hits connected]/2 chance of Paralysing the monster. The monster can resist with a save at a +0 bonus (inflict with CHA/LUK; resist with CHA/LUK).

April ??, 2016: The guest became rare.

Got this, thanks! ~Carandor

Ianthe -> RE: Pets/Guest - Read the first post! (3/28/2016 12:33:10)

Now available from the Blarney War '16: Ninja Lawyer Assassins

MC Darkness guest. Works like Nezujimbo/Shogun+Ansatsu: you have to pay gold for them to attack.

Attack #1 is "Red Tape". It's two hits, Darkness Melee, -34.62% damage. It costs COST1 gold. If at least one hit connects, then it Entangles the monster (-90*[hits connected]/2*[Darkness resist] DEX). The monster can resist with a save at a +0 bonus (inflict with CHA/LUK, resist with STR/LUK). If you use this attack repeatedly, then the DEX penalty just adds linearly (so -90 for the first attack, -180 for the second, -270 for the third, etc.). However, note that the game engine has an internal limit to this, and the monster's total DEX can't fall below -500.

Attack #2 is "Motion to Strike". It's one hit, Darkness Melee, +5 BTH lean, -40% damage. It costs COST1 gold. If the hit connects, the the monster starts Bleeding (0.34 modifier). The monster can resist with a save at a +0 bonus (inflict with CHA/LUK, resist with END/LUK). If used repeatedly, then it follows the normal Bleed stacking rules.

Attack #3 is "Aid and Abet". It's three hits, Darkness Melee, +10 BTH lean, +40% damage. It costs COST2 gold.

Shiba -> RE: Pets/Guest - Read the first post! (3/28/2016 15:18:49)

Does that mean the guest deals the same as a warrior's standard damage? Since guests usually do 60% melee, but this one adds +40% on ATK#3?

Andlu -> RE: Pets/Guest - Read the first post! (3/28/2016 15:37:54)

^yes(Kinda since it has 10 BTH lean so it does have a penalty in damage)
While the atk 2 will deal half the damage a pet would deal and atk 1 would deal a bit more of that amount

afterlifex -> RE: Pets/Guest - Read the first post! (3/28/2016 16:16:24)

If I had to guess it is +40% of a guests dmg: meaning 24% player dmg for a total of 84% player dmg(assuming Cha)
(not counting the lean)

Andlu -> RE: Pets/Guest - Read the first post! (3/28/2016 17:32:52)

From what I'm seeing it's just a additive boost so it wouldn't be 40% of a guest damage
guess only IMR can answer this

strike guardian -> RE: Pets/Guest - Read the first post! (3/28/2016 19:50:33)

It's definitely 40% of the guest's damage (even if it's additive it's still 40% of the Guest's turn added, not 40% of a player's turn).
