From the new Mecha Knight quest: Model 294. Kam says:

Darkness pet. Can be toggled between raw damage (+5% damage MC) and the EleVuln status. Has one attack, it basically uses a massive drill to pierce the mob. This deals 4 hits, and will (if the status isn't already active) inflict 1 turn of EleVuln on the mob. Making them take +(31.43*Hits/4)% Darkness damage. If EleVuln from another source is active, the pet just does +5% damage instead. If in the armour and shield, then the bonus damage on the EleVuln is boosted (due to an extra +4% Melee) to +(37.14/4*Hits).

Looks like Lv 11Z version should be 407 tokens.

[Monster gets a save to resist. Inflict with CHA/LUK, resist with END/LUK. +0 save bonus.]

    From the Mecha Knight quest, summoned by the Grakma Warhorn: Grakma guest

    Fire guest. (Technically MC, but the MC is spent on compressing it with a misc.) Costs SP.

    Click to toggle between:
  • A pure damage Magic Fire attack. One hit, +10 BTH lean.
  • A "curse" attack. One hit, Magic Fire, +10 BTH lean, takes -48.7% damage. If it connects, then the monster is inflicted with Element Vulnerability (+50% damage, 1 round). The monster can resist with a save at a -20 penalty (inflict with CHA/LUK, resist with CHA/LUK).

    For both of these, the Grakma doesn't attack 1/3 of the time. Its attacks do *3/2 damage to compensate.

    @IMR ^ Can Elemental Vulnerability (Fire) stack with Freeze to go above 200%?

    Lv 1000 -> RE: Pets/Guest - Read the first post! (9/27/2017 10:42:54)

    Elemental Vulnerability is just more damage and not related to resistances in this sense. So yes, they stack, I also assume the elevuln is added after freeze but I could be wrong.

    hohohahaPTSD -> RE: Pets/Guest - Read the first post! (9/27/2017 21:21:27)

    ^ If so, since Elevuln and Resistance modifiers are multiplicative, the order applied won't matter since multiplication is commutative then.

    Ok. This is what the ruby golem does rn. [Current Water Res] + {~8.5*[Energy Res as a decimal, i.e. 130% = 1.3]*[Hits Connected]/[Hits Attempted]} sooooo If a water monster has 130% Energy Res and 60% Water Res and both hits connect and makes the save in your favor the monster's Water res goes from 60% to 71%

    Quoting from a secondhand source. Can at least confirm the math, Sea Titan has 200% Energy and it increased water resist by 17%.

    Ianthe -> RE: Pets/Guest - Read the first post! (10/17/2017 2:37:52)

    In the LTS (will be moved... somewhere in the anniversary quest section): Blood Ruby Golem

    MC Melee Energy pet. Attack is two hits. -5 BTH lean.

    After the attack, the monster's Water resistance is increased by +(0.04*85/80*[monster current Energy resistance]*[hits connected]) percentage points, rounded randomly. The monster's Water resistance cannot be increased beyond [monster's base Energy resistance] in this way. The monster can resist with a save (inflict with CHA/LUK, resist with STR/LUK).

    This is considered a Hypersalinate effect for the purposes of stuff interacting with it.

    MC Wind pet

    Gives you a boost to LS rate. It multiplies your LS rate by *(1.1 + 0.1*[YourCHA]/[ExpCHA]). This only affects Wind weapon attacks and Wind spells.

    Similar to Dunamis, the pet needs to act to maintain the boost. If the pet doesn't attack and you get the boost, then you take damage. Also, this pet has the same "boost decreases as your level increases" effect as Dunamis.

    From the War of the Fangs: Revival war chest: Baby Dracovamp/Dracowere. Kam says:

    Fire/Light pets, Vamp version is Fire, Were version is Light. They have a normal attack and an "aura" attack that both deal the same damage. The aura attack only activates if you are the corresponding subrace for the pet, so you have to be a Vampire for the Dracovamp, or a Werewolf for the Dracowere, Werepyre and Dracopyre do nothing. If it can activate, the aura attack fires 20% of the time; once used, it causes the player to deal +10% damage with any weapon/spell attack for the next turn (the usual /0.75 effect for Magic weapons and /2 effect for spells applies). The winner's version has (20*√2)% chance to activate, and gives a boost of +(10*√2)% damage instead as an MC effect, but still requires you be the correct subrace.

    [You need to keep the pet out for the boost. Boost is /0.75ed for Magic weapons and /2ed for spells and weapon skills]

    *2 for spells and weapon skills? Surely you meant /2?

    Yes >< Fixed, thanks! ~IMR

    red vector -> RE: Pets/Guest - Read the first post! (11/9/2017 12:08:37)

    You may want to look into the effect rate of the pets. The Dracowolf is only using its aura attack the first turn it's out, and then doesn't use it ever again. The pop up also says my fire attacks are boosted, not light.
    EDIT: Turns out you have to use a fire attack to reset the counter for the aura attack. Either way, it's bugged.
    BELOW: Ah, okay, then I guess all that needs to be fixed is the element boost, if it hasn't been fixed already.

    Ianthe -> RE: Pets/Guest - Read the first post! (11/9/2017 12:59:32)

    red vector, apparently that's intended? The "boost" is saved until your next attack with the proper element, and the pet won't do its boost attack if there's a boost saved. The pet's attacks each do the same damage, so there's no downside in it not re-applying the boost.

    Bolter -> RE: Pets/Guest - Read the first post! (11/10/2017 6:31:43)

    It's the description of the Baby Dracowolf's aura attack that is bugged, saying that it boosts Fire when in actual fact it boosts Light, it was able to do the aura attack again after some time when I was only using Light weapon. Perhaps someone can help me clarify that it is indeed correctly boosting Light instead of Fire?
