I think this skill should steal a % of heal. And maybe I could be based in the lvl you have mark of blood.
I know this was suggested before but I got a good reason.
Surgical and Super Charge always gave health, while this didnt happen with Massacre. And the reason was that massacre didnt need to get back health because you had blood lust. It complemented massacre.
When you remove passive, you made a big nerf to massacre. Of course you can use both skills, but that will be just hard since massacre need 320 at lvl 1 and a good lvl of mark needs over 190.
And even if you could do this, it wouldnt be the same: You will do a weak damage getting without getting much health.
Give to massacre a buff, let it get a health.

That's actually a really good ppoint. It didn't need a hp regain primarily because it already had a passive. Theoretically speaking, the fact that massacre doesn't have a hp regain could indeed be a bug that was overlooked as passives were removed.

Massacre is meant to be the highest-damaging skill in the game. Its identity is simply very high, raw damage. I don't see the need to add a lifesteal factor to it. All it will do is reduce the diversity between classes and make them feel even more similar to each other than they currently are.

That being said massacre does need a buff since it's in a pretty bad spot right now.

But currently it doesn't deal very high raw damage especially since it can be countered by a single bot (in its current state). Racings point was that the lifesteal description for massacre wasn't needed since they had bloodlust. But now that bloodlust isn't here, they no longer have lifesteal. Now one can make the argument that "Mark of Blood is it's lifesteal" but, in that case, BloodMages surgical strike shouldn't have lifesteal then.

My point is that it should just get buffed on the damage aspect rather than adding the lifesteal attribute to it. That would make it retain its identity. I also don't really agree with the bloodlust + massacre argument because there was a point in time in early omega and delta where support-strength hybrid CH with massacre was a thing and CH never had lifesteal.

Passives were already gone in early omega T_T, not sure about delta because I didn't play then

This was during the GYT so passives were still there.

We had passives in all the phases including omega. They took them out sometime after the exile leader and Admin 10 came along. But we had passives in every phase (unless they make a new phase)
