racing.lo.mas -> Remove the Inappropriate Language. (3/31/2016 22:17:56)

As the tittle says, Im suggesting to remove it.
It's annoying and it isn't doing its work.

Lets say I wanted to make shut up someone in one chat but as a joke and I said "sh". If I want to say "it" in other chat I cant because of what the system thinks that I am trying to say.

It also detects something wrong when there isnt something bad, and it takes to me a long time to find a way to say it without making the system react.

Another thing, I cant say a word that has an inappropriate word in it. For example I want to say "computadora" (means computer in spanish). It doesn't have something wrong but I can't, because it thinks I'm trying to say an inappropriate spanish word.

But everybody can still say inappropriate words

So why it should stay if it doesnt do its work and sometimes makes the conversation hard?

Removed inappropriate language. ~WhiteTiger

I think that its because having no system in place and allowing an unfiltered chat would not make parents feel good about the game. It is true that people will always find ways around rules (we all know ways to speak more colorfully in-game after all :p ), but that alone isn't a good reason to get rid of them. Best thing to do is work within the limits if those limits are not blatantly unfair, and I personally don't think this one is unfair.

I do agree with the filter being annoying when you are trying to say legitimate things. But I don't really ever find it hard to get my point across, it's just a few seconds time to rephrase and even expands the self-expression skills.

While I agree that there are a lot of false positives and it should be improved, it definitely won't be removed, no matter how much you hate that you can't tell someone to be quiet in one chat and say "it" in another chat.
