Grixus Faldor -> =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (4/23/2016 8:00:38)

This thread is for posting any suggestions on the FGC, or farming guide requests and for general farming discussion. Since there should be only one entry/guide for one "farming spot", any suggestions can be posted here or PMed to any ArchKnight.

A few rules to this thread:

1) You must name the place you want a Farming Guide Compilation on, not just 'I want to know a good place for farming at level 44'
2) Please state your build as it is an important factor in farming. You can also state your level if you want to.
3) Try to keep your request organized
4) Be patient. This is voluntary work, so you can't expect your request to be done at all, but hopefully it will.
5) This thread may be used to suggest improvements to strategies for existing Farming Guides. Keep in mind that we will only add the most basic equipment necessary to finish the quest. Stronger variants of equipment will obviously be able to kill a monster more quickly.
6) General farming discussion also belongs here. Please do NOT submit Farming entries in this thread.

Magleby -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (4/26/2016 12:42:42)

Farming Place: Essences
Build: Pure Warrior
Notes: Hi, I am now level 130, and I have just found out that I need a seriously large amount of gold for upgrades when I turn level 135, haven't calculated it precisely but it seems like Dragons is the only way to get enough gold in time (equal XP and gold pr monster).. Is there anything quicker than Essences for me? :)

big E -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (4/26/2016 13:22:23)

Am-boss should be the fastest for a Warrior build as well, I know it's definitely the quickest for Mages. 606k/202k per run; if you use Horde's Retribution and Shield of Sands (plus any good Fire weapon) you won't need to change equipment. Yasakani Jewel, Polygalactase Process, and Lt Lore's shield (for burst damage once it's out of MP) are useful as well.

And if I may say so, who cares about getting enough money "on time"? You'll need lots more XP anyway, and since there's almost nothing to buy in the 136-149 range, you'll have plenty of time to gather Gold for 150. No big deal if you're 140 by the time you've updated your 135 gear ;)

Magleby -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (4/26/2016 13:56:18)

Okay, ty. I can kill Am-boss with the equipment I have now, so yeah, if I just keep farming him, I'll eventually have enough gold for my gear.. But should I still get the level 135 equipment when possible, and then become level 150 and gather gold for level 150 equipment? :)

big E -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (4/26/2016 14:21:04)

Yea, I'd say that 135 items cost so little compared to the Gold amounts that you'll need at 150 that completely upgrading your inventory won't make much difference.

llaa -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (5/2/2016 12:49:06)

Farming place: Tyrant king
Build: Pure FO warrior
Notes: Just hit 126, was wondering if there's anywhere else faster than tyrant king for exp. Getting kinda bored grinding at tyrant king already. Thanks!

big E -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (5/2/2016 13:55:08)

I switched to Queen Hybee at 126, and then to Am-Boss at 130. Hybee is quicker to farm if you can beat her in 3 turns (strong Wind skill on turn 4 which requires equipment change), otherwise I'd say stick it out with TK for four more levels. Am-boss at 130 is a given.

Live4Fun -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (5/2/2016 14:10:16)

Farming place: Void dragons
Build: Beastmaster mage
lvl: 100
Notes: I am currently farming xp at the void dragons, but i wonder if there is a faster way for me to get exp since i'm doing this over and over and it's completely random if you get, for example a terrorzard, elder void wyrm or nightbane (which i cannot beat). Who force me to flee and restart the quest.

Brasca123 -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (5/2/2016 14:18:59)

@above. at your level i'd recommend am-boss (travel map->dragonspine->wyvern rider war->click on the bush on the left in the war camp)

when you get to lv 106 i'd switch over to queen hybee (10th anniversary quest on seekrat head)

and on lv 110 i'd switch to tyrant king (lv 10 quest for beastmaster class)

so far as i know those are the best spots for mages

Rorro99 -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (5/2/2016 20:42:31)

Farming Place: ???
Build: Beastmaster Mage
Notes: Lvl 94. Got the best equipment (maybe not the pets tho but that's another story) what to farm for exp?

Brasca123 -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (5/2/2016 21:25:05)

i'd give you the same recommendations i gave to live4fun, start at am-boss, switch to queen hybee at lv 106 and switch to tyrant king at lv 110

1997p3 -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (5/5/2016 8:26:27)

Farming Place: Queen Hybee
Build: Level 110 Pure Mage
Notes: Just wondering if I should stick to Queen Hybee, since Tyrant king isnt available to adventurers

big E -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (5/5/2016 9:01:40)

At level 110 you have the next Am-Boss available, give him a shot. Might be quicker than Hybee, those two should be the best options for now. Although we might get lucky with the upcoming Void challenge - it'll stay available to Adventurers for as long as it's on the Events page.

somethinscary -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (5/5/2016 15:53:56)

Farming Place: Am-Boss
Build: Level 137 BeastMage
Notes: Just wondering if I can do better soon, or if i'm gonna be killing this bush for a few more weeks.

Thanks.

Brasca123 -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (5/5/2016 16:09:03)

should be the best until lv 145, at lv 146 queen hybee should surpass am-boss

1997p3 -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (5/6/2016 8:28:57)

Guess its alternating between Ambush and QH, I guess, thanks, big E!

Spyduh -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (5/7/2016 12:34:29)

Farming Place: Queen Hybee
Build: Lucky Hybrid, level 144
Notes: Char under username. Haven't played the game for about a year and a half. I wanted to know what the best place for farming would be until I hit 146 and go back to queen hybee.

Brasca123 -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (5/7/2016 13:18:48)

probably am-boss (travel map->dragonspine->19: wyvern rider war->click on the bush on the left of the war camp)

alternatively, you can try killing the new void boss, i believe am-boss will be faster than him though

Shiny shin -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (5/13/2016 19:13:08)

Just hit 150, where should I be farming? I wasn't really farming until now.

Brasca123 -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (5/14/2016 0:46:37)

@above. queen hybee is usually considered the best farming spot for 150s

alternatively, if you can beat the essences with some ease, you can get the temporary dragon blade from the Quest for the Dragon Blade and use it against the fear drake in the 10th anniversary quest

i believe the fear drake is quicker than the hybee for warriors, but not totally sure on that

you can also try to beat the new void boss with the kusanagi sword, i have no idea how this one compares to the last 2, but i think it's a reasonably reliable farming spot

nicarasu -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (5/19/2016 14:20:00)

Are there any good places to get a low level character off the ground? Just started a classic hybrid, which is at level 11, and a pure ranger and pure warrior at 30 and 49 respectively.

big E -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (5/20/2016 2:57:40)

Drakonnan's generals in the 10th anniversary. Keep farming the toughest one you can beat. If you're a Guardian, you also have the Flame Guardian temporary armor, take some minutes to charge it up against the level 1 General and you have a free 50% Fire armor. Couple that with a basic Fire shield and OPTIC and you should be set against Generals a fair bit higher than you.

Brasca123 -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (5/20/2016 9:55:05)

drakath the undead dragon is also a great choice for early lv farming

(travel map->zorbak hideout->twilly vs zorbak->after the huge cutscene choose to fight nonetheless after you win the stat roll)

personally speaking, i don't think it's worth it farming at the early lvs though, i'd go do class quests and other random quests out there instead because it's more fun, but that's just me

Doom Zero -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (6/6/2016 9:17:44)

I'm currently leveling up a mage (and following your guide, Brasca, keep up the good work!) and I'm at level 76 for the moment. I'm using the Drakath farm, but by god, the cutscenes are intolerable. I'm just waiting until I can pull off the Challenge Carnax fight.

Basically, my plan is to keep leveling with Drakath until I have the power to tear through Carnax's final form in the Guardian Teleporter using the Carnax Blade and Taladosian Robes.

Are there any other XP farms at my level for mages? Basically I'm looking for anything that can be beaten at my level that gives around 30k XP or more in less time than the Drakath farm.

PS: I do understand the whole "it's not worth farming at early levels" idea, Brasca, if that even applies to me at level 76, but since this isn't my first character, I think it's fair for me to try to skip that stuff.

homerbacanto -> RE: =AQ= [FGC] Farming Guide Compilation Discussion/Requests (6/13/2016 8:08:14)

Farming Place: The Restoration
Build: Pure Warrior
Notes: I've been grinding here since 115~ ish. Any faster/better place? Non guardian btw. Thanks :D
