November '18 GGBs: Zard Droppings [Ultra Rare]

Wind spell, pretty much a clone of Torrentacles. Has a 100%*MobWindRes*Hits/Attempts chance to attempt a 1 turn Paralyse, if it goes past 100% chance it has a (Chance-100)% chance to do 2 turns of Paralyse instead. It pays 59.5% Melee for this, or in other words, it pays 29.75% spell damage, adjusted to 24.75% due to MC. Inflicts with player INT/LUK, mob resists with END/LUK (enduring the disgust of, you know, Zard poop on you) at a neutral 50% save.

This cost scales based on your player level, so the spell is priced as an MC Lv 143 Z item, costing 5940 tokens. MC effect is a 5% discount on the SP cost. Examples below for various SP costs at specific levels.

Regarding all of the imbues above:

Note: The base Poison power is actually 2 in-game, not 1.8. Additionally, the imbue costs twice as much as it should (2x3x10x0.5 = 30% melee). The cost should be halved or the duration should be doubled.

Drop the B-Bomb

MC Energy skill. Costs SP.

If you have at least [MinSP] SP it consumes all your SP. Then, you calculate the spell's damage based on how much SP you spent, up to a max of [MaxSP] and wasting anything above this limit:
  • CostLvl = (-2.3375 + Square Root(5.46391 - 0.045 * (38.1 - SP/0.75)))/ 0.0225
  • - This is a Z-Token spell, so it gets a boost to its power level
  • - If CostLvl < 87, then PowLvl = 62/75 * CostLvl + 452/25
  • - Else, PowLvl = CostLvl +3

    You then cast a standard spell at the listed power level. Two Four hits, Melee Energy, uses CHA for stat bonuses.

    Skeletal Spears/Lances

    Energy Spell/Skill, 1/3 base damage lean and neutral accuracy lean. Spell is MP cost and does Magic damage, charging the usual 125% Melee in MP, skill is SP cost and does Melee damage if using a Melee weapon, Ranged damage otherwise, charging 100% Melee in SP. MC and 20% Melee in HP cost (30% Melee total) are used to give the spell/skill x4 LUKy Strike chance, with another 30% Melee in HP cost giving the spell/skill +15% damage dealt.

    From the Nemesis MC quest: Nemesis Aura. Kam says:

    Imbue skill, quick-cast, charges 150% Melee in SP. At the end of turn when you've done a weapon attack/special, Imbue attempts a 3 turn (50 x Hits / Attempts)% Melee Poison that heals you equal to the damage dealt. Element is chosen between the stronger of Ice or Harm, selected when the Poison is applied. MC bonus has this get a -20 penalty to the save instead of a neutral one, this inflicts with STR/LUK vs mob's END/LUK. Also has Token versions at Lv 11/80/125/143 equivalent to Lv 45/90/135/150 for 408/2200/4620/5940 tokens.

    Arcane Express

    Wind spell, overcharged, costing total of 175% Melee in MP so spell does a baseline of 250% Melee damage at base, has 5 hits, MC boosts damage by +5% (10% Melee), but gets mitigated by the cost paid for the effects. Offers two options when cast. Empowering Express charges 120% Melee in the spell's damage (total of 120% Melee) to give 4 turns of +30% Wind DmgDlt Elemental Empowerment, this is cast right at the start of the spell, so the spell itself benefits from the bonus damage. Enfeebling Express charges 140% Melee in the spell's damage (total of 140% Melee) to attempt an infinite duration +(20 x Hits / 5)% Wind DmgTkn EleVuln on the foe. Math on this is 140% Melee, /1.4 since it affects player's whole field, then /0.5 for the 50% save, then /10 since we assume 10 turns, so 140/1.4/0.5/10 = 20, then just split that among the hits.

    As a bonus, if this spell is cast while in the Broomstrider armour, it will gain EleComp to damage as though it were a built-in spell, the damage payment for the effects is done after it's boosted via the EleComp, so it only loses the % Melee stated.

    King Claw Assault

    Water spell/skill, spell does Magic damage and costs 125% Melee in MP, skill costs 100% Melee in SP and does Melee damage if wielding a Melee weapon, otherwise does Ranged damage, does 5 hits of damage with a 1/5 base damage lean and neutral accuracy lean. Does standard 200% Melee damage at base, sacrificing 100% Melee to do similar status effects to the weapons from this set, you select either Water EleVuln or Water Drain Poison. EleVuln lasts 4 turns, 100% Melee doubles to 200% due to the save, /1.4 for it affecting your whole field and /4 for # of turns gives it 35.71% Melee value, so have it apply a +(35.71 x Hits / Attempts)% DmgTkn Water EleVuln. Poison lasts 4 turns as well, deals (25 x Hits / Attempts)% Melee per turn, heals player = to damage dealt. Both inflicts with (INT/LUK for spell, either STR/LUK or DEX/LUK for skill, depending on damage type) vs mob's END/LUK on what would normally be a 50% save, MC gives this a -20 penalty though, so mob actually has only a 30% base chance to resist the status.

    Minor clarification: The spell's supposed to eat Panic, not Fear. I originally designed it to work with Fear but then I realised that would've made it a clone of Skull Scream from the Underworld Tome, so it changed it right before release. Sorry for the confusion!

    Wind spell/skill, 0.2 base damage lean and neutral accuracy lean, 5 hits. Pays MC and half spell damage (so 110% Melee) to attempt a -(28.07 x MobWindRes x Hit / 5) BtH Blind that lasts for 4 turns. The mob has a -20 penalty to the save, and it inflicts with INT/LUK for the spell version, and for the skill version, STR/LUK if using a Melee weapon, DEX/LUK otherwise. FSB: If using the armour and shield of the set, this does -(33.17 x <stuff>) BtH Blind instead of the above.

    Also has Lv 31/85/125/143 Z Token versions, costing 737/2409/4620/5940 tokens each.

    Edit: Mob saves vs the status with END/LUK, derp.

    Abominable Frostbite

    Ice spell. 2 hits. deals no damage, instead attempts to inflict a 6 turn -(30 x MobIceRes)% DmgDlt Choke and a 6 turn (31)% Melee Ice Burn on the enemy, inflicting with INT/LUK vs enemy END/LUK, both status effects have a -20 penalty to their save as MC effect. If in the armour/shield for the Winter Warden set, then the value of the effects get a 10% boost, so -(33 x MobIceRes)% DmgDlt Choke and 34.1% Melee Burn. Normally these would get a x0.85 penalty due to not requiring a hit, but instead the spell charges a further 30% Melee in HP cost.

    Edit: Upon review I realised that I derped on the numbers for this, and turns out the numbers on the status effects were twice as strong as they should've been. This has been corrected, with the duration on both effects being halved to 3 turns. In addition, I've given the spell two 0-damage hits so that it'll function with anything that checks for hits on spell attacks and such.

    Fire spell/skill, overcharged (175% Melee in MP or 150% Melee in SP), does 0 damage, but has two no-damage hits for bubblewrap purposes and so it properly interacts with stuff. Auto-hits, but instead of reducing its potency to x0.85, it instead charges MP/SP = to 15% of 250% Melee, or 37.5% Melee (so total cost is (175 + 37.5 = 212.5)% Melee in MP, or (150 + 37.5 = 187.5)% Melee in SP.     MC effect for this mitigates 10% Melee worth of the MP/SP cost, already factored in to the numbers below.

    Windswept/Petrifying Cursed Gaze

    2-hit Wind/Earth spells, if the foe is afflicted with Petrify (Galeforce) or Windswept (Petrifying), respectively, the spells instead focus on raw damage, and deal +20% damage (this is paid for via MC and dealing -5% damage if the corresponding status is not on the enemy). Otherwise, the spell uses MC bonus and 5% spell damage as a downtrigger, so -5% DmgDlt normally. It then pays a further 91.54% Melee (so -45.77% spell damage, so add to the downtrigger for -50.77% DmgDlt) to have a Hits/Attempts% chance to attempt Windswept/Petrify, respectively, for 1 turn. These have 50% saves, inflict with INT/LUK vs mob END/LUK.

    Griffin Airstrike - Deluge of Democracy/Light of Liberty/Fires of Freedom

    Water/Light/Fire spells/skills, six total versions for elemental and spell/skill variants, skill version does Melee damage if using a Melee weapon, otherwise does Ranged damage. After this, saying "spell" refers to both spell and skill versions. Spell has 3 hits, but the first hit deals fixed damage to the player (flagged as Other attack type, deals Democracy/Liberty/Freedom element damage to bypass any resists you might have, basically just an HP cost with a silly setup) = to the FixDmg section below, this fixed damage is = to what 50% Melee in HP cost would be, so the spell gets +50% Melee worth of damage to play around with. When casting the spell, you get 3 options for attacking.

  • Napalm Bombs: Sacrifices half of the spell's damage + MC effect (so 125% Melee + 10% Melee) to attempt a 27% Melee Burn that lasts 5 turns after each successful hit on the enemy. The burn matches the spell's element. This has a 50% save, inflicts with Mainstat/LUK vs enemy DEX/LUK, Mainstat corresponds to damage type.

  • Smoke Bombs: Sacrifices 98% Melee (so spell deals +25% for HP cost, and +5% for MC, then -49% for the status) to attempt a -(10 x MobEleRes) BtH Blind that lasts 5 turns after each successful hit on the enemy. Same inflict stats as Napalm Bombs, but the mob has a -20 penalty to the save.

  • Carpet Bombs: Raw damage, gains +10 BtH lean, HP cost gives +25% damage, MC gives a further +5%.
