Water shield, MC compresses a quick-cast skill that costs 200% Melee in SP, and applies 2 turns of (100 x 0.9)% Melee HP regen to you.

It now gives two options for either 2 turn or 4 turn Regen, healing for 45% Melee per turn when used. This is quick-cast, usable once/turn, charging 100% and 200% Melee, respectively. ~ Updated 31 July 23, Ward

Retro Nightmare Shield

Ice shield, MC is +5 AllPotence. Also has Token versions at Lv 11/80/125/143 equivalent to Lv 45/90/135/150 for 408/2200/4620/5940 tokens. If you're not on a Guardian character or using a token version, the item is not MC'd (similar to the Golden Retro set) and you take +(5/1.4)% damage from enemy attacks.

New 20k package item: Voidforged Celestial Aegis

MC neutral shield. Defends against all elements and Harm.

If you have at least 154% Melee* worth of Poison on your foe, you can click on the shield to consume that much to Imbue your weapon with Voidforged Corruption (1 turn):
- Weapon attacks become Void.
- Inflicts your foe with Chromatic Corruption, which is a Poison (Void, power:5* [DAMAGE], 1 turn, heals your HP by the damage dealt). (Inflict with MainStat/LUK, resist with END/LUK.)
This is a quickcast skill that locks your shield in until the end of the turn.

*When used with the weapon, the cost is decreased by 15% Melee and your weapon is locked in too.

MC: Comes with a skill. Once per turn you can pay [100% Melee] SP to heal HP (spell, *0.85*0.9*0.5 damage, uses END for stats). If you have any negative status effects, then the healing is reduced to cleanse these:
- 1 affliction: healing is halved
- 2 afflictions: no healing
- 3+ afflictions: charges an additional [50% Melee] SP to cleanse each affliction beyond the 2nd, if possible.

We figure that the same applies to healing:
- Just +healres: +12.5% (bc you need to bring other healing items)
- Both +healres and a healing effect: +6.25%

Infernal/Abyssal Chaos Cauldron

Fire/Darkness shields, Magic > Ranged > Melee blocking priority. Compresses a skill that opens up a menu, and allows using one skill option per turn, with a further cooldown detailed below. Instead of charging HP/MP/SP, you instead consume potions to grant one of three different effects. With the MegaSoaker weapon we had each potion be worth 100% Melee, so that's what we're gonna go with here as well.

Empowering Vigor: Consume a health potion to gain 4 turns of +25% <ShieldElement> DmgDlt EleEmpower.

Toxic Mana: Consume a mana potion to attempt 4 turns of 30.36% Melee <ShieldElement> Poison, inflicted with (STR/DEX/INT, depending on equipped weapon type)/LUK vs mob END/LUK, with a -20 penalty to the save. This doesn't require a hit, so the damage on the Poison got a x0.85 penalty factored in to its value.

Volatile Concoction: Consume both a health and mana potion (so base of 200% Melee, /0.7 due to the save, so ~286% Melee) to attempt 8 turns of +25.75% DmgTkn <ShieldElement> EleVuln and -8.5 MRM DefLoss vs <ShieldElement>. Inflicts with the same save as Toxic Mana, including the -20 penalty to the save.

These are only usable once per turn, but they also have a cooldown equal to the # of potions used. So Empowering Vigor and Toxic Mana require waiting a turn before you can use the cauldron for any skill, while Volatile Concoction requires waiting two turns before you can use the cauldron again.

Stygian/Benthic Cursed Crystal Ward

Darkness/Water shields, essentially clones of the Radiant Aegis shield from a few years back. Magic>Ranged>Melee for blocking. MC is you can pay the listed SP to take -25% damage until the next turn after an attack has been attempted against you (AKA if a monster skips its turn or doesn't attack you keep the buff until it does attempt an attack). This can be stacked twice for a max of -50% damage taken. SP paid is equivalent to 35% Melee, so you're taking -0.35/1.4 damage per use of the effect.

Comes with a built-in healing skill. One hit, Heal element, also multiplied by the mob's Wind resistance, gets *0.85 penalty for auto-hitting. Also gains shield eleComp. Uses END for stat bonuses.

Infernal Angel's Defiance

Fire shield, MC attempts to inflict Panic on the enemy when blocking attacks. Base 5% MC with /0.15 for on-block gives ~33.33%, /1.5 since this'll have the same -10 penalty to the save as the weapon, so lasts 1.5 turns on average, gives 22.22%, /1.4 since it's affecting mob damage, and finally /2 since it's attempting after each block, and assume 2 hits per turn. So that gives us a final -7.9% DmgDlt Panic attempted. The shield will attempt this Panic with every blocked attack from the enemy, up to 4 times per turn. 40% save, inflicts with (STR/DEX/INT for Melee/Ranged/Magic weapon)/LUK vs mob CHA/LUK.

(Ice) Earth shield.

MC: At start of your turn, there's a [hits blocked]/[hits connected] * 10/21 chance of Paralysing the monster for 1 turn. The monster can resist with a save at a +0 bonus (inflict with (STR or DEX or INT depending on weapon mainstat)/LUK; resist with END/LUK). Vs Vamp/Were, the effect chance is *1.1 normal potency, so 11/21 base, vs anything else, the effect is *0.95 normal potency, so 9.5/21 base. In addition, vs Vamp/Were mobs, their attacks will be treated as though they're hitting the shield's primary resistance, similar to the Communicant shield.

Ice shield, compresses a toggle that charges 25% Melee in SP the first time each turn the enemy attempts an attack on you. For that strike and each strike in that turn, any time you are hit you will attempt to inflict a 1-turn +21.01% DmgTkn EleVuln vs Fire/Ice. This inflicts with WpnMainstat/LUK vs the enemy's END/LUK, neutral save. This can trigger up to 4 times per turn.

Trickster's Fanged Buckler

Wind shield, MC effect is you can toggle it to activate Trickster's Invigoration mode. While active, the shield will check if the enemy attempted an attack on you during their turn. The first time the enemy attempts an attack on you, the shield deducts 22.5% Melee in SP from you, and for that attack and the rest of the enemy's turn, you will heal for (22.5 x 0.85 / 0.15 / 2 = 63.75)% Melee with each blocked attack, this effect can trigger up to 4 times per turn.

Also has Lv 31/85/125/143 Z Token versions, costing 737/2409/4620/5940 tokens each.
