Zappy Godmother/Classic Godmother

Energy/Light versions of Fairy Godmother, toggles between 3 modes. Energy/Light damage, respectively, HP healing, and MP healing. MC covers compression penalty, so for doing 3 things at once it has *3.3 price compared to a normal pet. Damage mode has no penalty, HP healing mode does -10% and -15% damage due to being always useful and for the fact it auto-hits, MP healing mode is worth -10% and -15% as well since it auto-hits, and is given a *1.5 bonus since it's hitting your MP.

Call Astral Mire

Water guest, neutral damage/accuracy leans. Toggles between a 2-hit damage mode dealing +10% damage as MC vs foes that have MP below standard value to cast a spell for its level, and a 3-hit mode where it trades 50% guest damage (so 30% Melee) to replenish (10 x LowMPTrigger / 0.85)% Melee worth of MP per hit that connects, where LowMPTrigger is 1.2 if the enemy is below MP value for spell cast, 1 otherwise.

Flashy Godfather

Same tiers and stats as Fairy Godmother. MC is a toggle between +5% damage and attempting to inflict Paralysis. Pays half attack damage + MC (so 22% Melee) for a (37*MobLightRes)% chance to attempt a 1 turn Paralysis (he makes the mob an offer they can't refuse), has a 50% save, inflicts with CHA/LUK and is resisted with CHA/LUK (ability to resist the Godfather's offer).

GGB common: Salek Sprayer, Ianthe says...

Not MC Water pet. Normal attack is 2 hits.

Compresses a skill. Pay [40% Melee] SP and have the pet take -55.6% damage for the attack to leave the mob Drowning (1 turn) subject to a save at a +10 bonus (inflict with CHA/LUK, resist with END/LUK). Both hits need to connect for this effect to apply.

The pet is not MC, so it takes -5% damage in all forms to pay for compression.

GGB UltraRare: Call Gluttony. (no Summon version) Ianthe says...

MC Wind guest. Click to toggle between:
Hungry Mode: 5 hits, Magic Wind, +0 BTH lean. If your foe is Burning, then this consumes Burn to boost damage by the same amount. (Consumes Burn up to twice guest baseline; starts at 2*[45% Melee] and scales up to 2*[50% Melee] with 250 CHA, possibly up to 2*[100% Melee] with Ferocious Strikes.)

Hangry Mode: 5 hits, Magic Wind, +0 BTH lean. Has both the following effects:
a) The guest gains an additional HP cost (equal to guest baseline) and deals an additional +50% damage. After the 5th hit, the guest does another hit to the monster's [HP/MP/SP, chosen randomly] equal to (1/3 guest baseline) and you heal [the same stat] equal to half the damage done. This additional hit is a type "other" attack, not a guest attack.
b) If your foe is Burning, then this consumes Burn to boost damage; the damage-y hits get 3/4 of this boost, and the "other"-y hit gets 1/4 this boost. (Consumes Burn up to four times guest baseline; starts at 4*[45% Melee] and scales up to 4*[50% Melee] with 250 CHA, possibly up to 4*[100% Melee] with Ferocious Strikes.)

Summons a Snowfang Wolf guest that pays half damage (so 22.5% Melee) to attempt a 2-turn 22.5% Melee Ice Burn, this uses the same save as the weapon, 50% with player STR/LUK vs enemy DEX/LUK.

Call Stone Assassin (Ultra Rare) - Ianthe says...

MC Ranged Earth guest. +20 BTH lean. Normal attack is 3 hits.

If the mob's below 50% health, you click on it to activate a skill. Pay [22.5% Melee] in SP; the guest skips its next turn. On the turn after that, it gains Celerity (+2 actions, 1 turn). It also changes its attack to 4 hits. 10 turn cooldown.

~

For the nerds, a small note that appeared in bugtesting: Celerity doesn't work with fractional additional actions, so when stacking you add the durations together and randomly round the new +actions. If you have Celerity (1 turn, +1 action) when the guest applies its own, then it'll get a two-turn Celerity with either +1 action or +2 actions. This is a mess but we figure it's okay :)

NA/HuM Type-S313

Fire pet, has two attacks, one deals -25% damage to generate 1 WHz worth of Pulse Core Frequency when initiating the attack, and, if Pulse Core Integration is toggled on when initiating the attack, attempts a 2-turn -(1.2 x WHz / ActivePCI) MRM DefLoss, inflicting with CHA/LUK vs enemy DEX/LUK. Second attack is only fired if 80 Supercharge (detailed below) or more is attained, which consumes 80 Supercharge and deals +200% damage (+80% Melee), has a full base damage lean, and a -15 BtH lean. If PCI is active, the attack does a further +(5 x WHz / ActivePCI)% damage. Can click it to open a menu with three options:

Warwolf Supercharge: Toggles the pet between three states, by default is off, second state the pet eats 20% Melee in SP at start of its turn to gain 20 Supercharge, third state the pet eats 40% Melee in SP at start of its turn to gain 40 Supercharge.
Pulse Core Integration: Toggles on/off (default is on) PCI for the DefLoss on the default attack and damage boost on the Supercharge attack.
Shift Gear: Requires PCF to be capped. You now generate [8% of cap] WHz of PCF per turn. You also gain +[cap*2]% chance of your guest Ferociously Striking for 2 turns.
- First use: +0.8 WHz of PCF per turn, +20% FerSt rate
- Second use: +1.2 WHz per turn (total: +2 WHz/turn), +40% FerSt rate
- Third use: +1.6 WHz/turn (total: +3.6 WHz/turn), +60% FerSt rate

Supercharge does not carry over between battles, if you end battle and have Supercharge remaining, and the pet is your active pet, then it refunds you an equivalent amount of SP.

Dead Sea Stinger (Ultra-Rare)

Water pet, always sacrifices half pet damage (20% Melee) to attempt a 2-turn 10% Melee Water Burn after each hit of its 2-hit attack. Inflicts with a neutral save, using CHA/LUK vs mob DEX/LUK. MC goes towards a toggle that is basically an HP cost, where the pet does normal damage, still attempts the Burn as normal, but also inflicts the player with a 2-turn 10% Melee Harm Burn that can't be removed via Lucky Break. Basically you're just paying 20% Melee in HP cost to have the pet deal normal damage and attempt a Water Burn worth 20% Melee.

Infested Deckhand (Rare)

Darkness pet, pays half damage (so 20% Melee) to attempt either Bleed (default) or Drain Darkness Poison. Both inflict with CHA/LUK vs foe END/LUK, with a -20 penalty to the save as MC bonus. The Bleed by default lasts an average of 1 turn, so is worth 20% Melee/turn, each hit thus inflicts 10% Melee Bleed. The Poison is also 20% Melee, save makes it 40%, lasts 2 turns so 20%, heals = to damage dealt so 10%, and finally it's per-hit, so each hit attempts a 5% Melee Darkness Drain Poison that lasts 2 turns.

22nd Anniversary Rare Monster Hunt:

Kam says:

quote:

Summon/Call Cuprume & Copperclad Bright Owl

Light guest/pet, MC toggles between two modes. The default mode has it pay half of its damage and MC (22% Melee total), and do a 2-hit attack. For each hit of this that lands, it'll heal your HP for 11% Melee, modified by the enemy's Light resistance. It doesn't have the always useful penalty since it's affected by Light res, and it doesn't have the auto-hit penalty since it requires landing hits with the attack. The secondary mode pays 25% of damage (so deals -20% damage since MC mitigates 5% of this, total value is 10% Melee) to passively inflict the mob with +(12.5 x PlayerCHA/AssumedCHA)% Heal resistance, making their healing weaker, maximum allowed is 110% of the base value, so 13.75 for the pet. This is also affected by the Dunamis-style outleveling formula, with a 20-level buffer. Guest version of this gets x1.125 to everything.

Fungibushi Mooceleum

Wind pet. Comes with four modes: Drain Mode, Booster Mode, Drain Mode+Speed Spores, Booster Mode+Speed Spores.

Drain Mode: 4 hits, -50% damage. Afterwards you do a hit to your foe's MP (if your nodrop weapon is Magic) or SP (otherwise) equal to [10% Melee]*[hits connected]/[hits attempted] with the usual modifiers. This hit is a type "other" attack. You heal MP/SP equal to the damage done. For these attacks, if your CHA is less than [Expected Main Stat] then the attack uses [Expected Main Stat] instead, and at the end of the pet's turn you take damage equal to [20% Melee]*[difference between the two]/[Expected Main Stat].

Booster Mode: After the mob attacks, it gets Spored for each hit it did that connected (power:0.1*[hits connected], Wind). If Speed Spores are on, then the Spore power is halved. If your CHA is less than [Expected Main Stat] then at the start of your turn you take damage equal to [20% Melee]*[difference between the two]/[Expected Main Stat].

Speed Spores: At the end of the pet's turn, the monster gains Celerity (+1 action, 1 turn) and you gain EleShield (Earth, 0 additional turns, -16% damage). The monster gains +31.25% Heal Resistance for two monster turns.

- 1 healing hit. *0.85*0.9 damage, also takes -50% damage and gives you +19.8 Status Resistance** to all statuses. The status resistance scales equally off your CHA and END.

*MC bonus: -20 instead of +0
**MC bonus: 19.8 instead of 18

Ianthe -> RE: Pets/Guest - Read the first post! (11/4/2024 0:32:18)

Halliphax

Guardian Only guest. Seeks Ice/Light.

Attack is either 2 hits Magic Light, or 2 hits Ranged Ice.

Reign Phoenix. Kam says:

Fire pet, 2 hits, normally deals -10% damage (effectively MC and 10% damage worth of downtrigger, so 15% of pet damage, AKA 6% Melee), if attacking a Burning enemy, heals for 15% pet damage worth of HP per hit that connected (actually 30 x 0.85 / 0.85 for the healing component auto-hitting, but then it has to hit, so the x0.85 and /0.85 cancel out). The healing is affected by the mob's Fire resists.

If using the armour/shield of the set, then the healing from the pet goes from 30% pet damage (assuming both hits connect) to 50% pet damage, basically 10% pet damage downtrigger converts to 20% uptrigger.

Can be clicked to activate a toggle, allowing the pet to eat 40% Melee of Burn (eaten at start of attack, so if you eat exactly 40% you get no healing and deal less damage) to gain Celerity at start of its attack animation. Can gain Celerity once per turn, gains Celerity only if there's at least 40% Melee worth of Burn on the enemy.

Stats appear to be the same as before, so old info sub posts:
