Hey guys, this is my first story! I have a plot all planned out. I will be updating as I can. Please be constructive in your critisysm.
Chapter one
OATH
"To serve to honor to protect.
NO MATTER THE SACRIFICE!"
Christopher opened his eyes, and stood up from the floor where he had knelt. The words he had just spoke still hung in the air. They weighed on his shoulders, and fanned the fire in his soul.
A knot formed in his chest as Chris felt the weight of the amulet being places upon his neck. Its made of silver and there is a red men set within the center of the amulet. It was molded intot he shape of an X.
Falcom, head of the first order spoke loudly in the dimly lit room.
" TODAY, you begin a new chapter in your life, Sir Christopher!" "You have served Battleon, and this world of Lore, as well as any during your time amung the Gaurdians." " I saw you on your first day, and have watched you till this time. " it was I who offered you a place amung us, those who go the exra mile. " " Those who serve away from the spotlight, and take on the most horrific challenges." " We are the X- Guardians." None know the significance of this other than those who are part of our elect troop." "We open our arms to you brother, and we have great faith in your heart of courage."
" ALL who are here today, give there support to you, and swear to uphold our oath. " " Now we all, in unity, bestow upon you the office and so the power, of the X-Gaurdian!"
As one, all the man and woman present lifted there hands. A green light came from the chest of a woman to or left. A red light from a man on the right. And then lights of many colors shot up from each member. Those lights pooled on the ceiling of the room in which they gathered. Then..all of thise lights came down on Christopher.
" AAAUUUHHHHGGH!!!"
Panting he fell to his knees. Never before had he felt soemthing like this. As if, he had a living essence within him,warming him, as well as compelling him. Compelli g him to stand, fight, defend, taste victory...
The light faded...

Once again Christopher stood to his feet.
" To serve, to honor, to protect!"
"NO MATRER THE SACRIFICE!"
Christopher's eyes glowed bright blue. Then slowly the color receded and they looked as they alwase had. Light Brown.
