Genuinely hyped for this release. The first five skills of Paladin were fairly basic, but generally the later abilities in a class are more unique and mechanically complex.

I can't wait to see how the Paladin's identity will develop as more skills are unlocked. The update page also mentions that extra equipment will be unlocked as you level up, which sounds promising.

When is the release date for the second class of the paladin abilities? I have the first class already, do we have to restore class level to access this if we were already level 10 paladins?Or will we get to have the second class abilities upon release?

^Releases are usually on the Friday after the announcement. "Officially" they're on Thursdays, but they usually get pushed back a day to help smooth out the bugs.

Yes this will be a Friday release, folks! For this part of the release I'd recommend not being lvl 10 going into it. One of the visuals that unlock in the Halls of Honor once you reach lvl 10 is a pretty big spoiler.

@Hollow re-looking at Revenant and making it a practical/useful armor. It's unique effects and cool transformation can really boost its popularity if its effect was strong and not tedious to get off.

The subject of Revenant is actually being discussed while planning out the Resurrection (AKA Defiance) ability on Paladin coming this week. As far as old Heromart items, I'll see if I can start adding those in on "lighter" weeks. It wouldn't be all at once, more like one here and there.

Little Death should be looked into for an update, maybe something akin to an insta-death mechanic like the blade of awe since he is(?) a grim reaper.

Two others that come to mind are Ice Rhino and Chopalot, I remember seeing them constantly back when Z-token were advertised(the good old days haha)

It miiight be a bit complicated since it's a full set, but the Warlord/Ares set is a set that I've always liked in concept, and now that Z-Token prices are much lower than when they were released it seems like it's a good time to give players an incentive to actually buy it. The main problem is that its FSB skill takes a full turn to use, which makes it entirely worse than the Blazing Bloodzerker. If it were revamped it might be a semi-decent alternative for players who have a lot of tokens but don't want to gamble on GGBs.

Some other weapons/items that I definitely wouldn't mind seeing updated include:

* The OG Mage Blade. There's a dearth of good Wind options for mages right now, and a weapon that deals increased damage with INT could make a decent wind nuke when paired with the Cthonian Count. If I had my way with it, I'd suggest making it a 0-proc or 20-proc with a free Melee/Magic toggle, and have its mastercraft effect be paying MP to increase damage output in both versions. That way, it would be a good option for both mages and hybrids.


* The Chopalot. Being described as "one of the strongest Earth weapons" is funny, given that it's entirely unremarkable now. I'd suggest scaling it up to Level 150 and giving it a Zealot's Wrath-style "lean". I had a similar suggestion a while back for my "Chopalot Prime" concept. As one of the original weapons used to promote Z-Tokens, I feel the Chopalot have power to match its description and status.

* I've mentioned it in the Direct-to-Dev questions thread but I think that the Ebony Sepulchure form could use some new art to fit with modern armors. Balance-wise it's fine but it looks a bit awkward with the tiny model. Since its skill synergizes extremely well with the anti-Undead skills of the Paladin class, I think now's as good a time as any for it to have a fresh coat of paint.


* The Jester Masquerade armor. Update its tiers to Level 143, and rebalance its skill so that it's no longer overcosted (it currently costs 120% SP and deals 80% damage), and it would be a pretty decent option for compression.

Flare Flayer is both at Token Weapon shop item and Jagged Peaks, this will give the latter a reason to be visited

Ultra Nightmare/Unicorn Rider already has updated stats/art from their Temporary variants from Guardian Stables, they need a unique MC effect and (dis)mount toggles

Soul Banisher could receive an MC treatment of three skills themed after its description: a pure Afraid status infliction like War's Legacy, an auto-miss that affects incoming non-auto-hit attacks, and a Darkness Elecomp skill.

Moglo-Habilis is a Light stat nerf pet that can be a variant of Nerf(bat/kitten/it), which are due for a standards update in Expected Duration, Monster lean and add to it my Nerfpet 2020 suggestion's seeking highest among Str/Dex/Int/Cha stat nerf toggle to restore their original stat nerf ability

Fire/Wind/Ice/Energy/Dark Orbs, with Earth as a new Orb, we have an existing Light Orb as a gold priced item, as clones of Cozy Fire Orb and Greater Water Orb

Yes, Felled Gunfighter!!! And maybe rename the top level version Felled Gunslinger. Just because it sounds cool. This is a truly fun armor! But you would have to own it to understand. All three separate attack animations are the best. And when a weapon special fires off he throws the weapon behind him in disgust when it completes, apparently angry that he didn't get to use his guns. So funny. It's currently on my character page.
