battlesiege15 -> RE: Dragonlorn Keep - The Last Dragonlords + Z-Token Packages (9/27/2020 20:21:28)

Anyone have an image of the pet?

Noremak Soothsayer -> RE: Dragonlorn Keep - The Last Dragonlords + Z-Token Packages (9/28/2020 0:35:14)

Think it would be wise to stock up on some stun resist items? Catnip senses offers +20 immobility resist and Mistral's Grace offers +10 (which, sadly, my level 87 char can't wield that level 105 shield). I'm not sure if that saves me from the infliction chance or the stun chance itself but I'd like to hope it does both.

Thanks! The pet looks pretty cool but idk how useful it's for a Beastwarrior

I'm not sure how this pet even works.. It appears to be charging, but I don't see a difference in stats or anything. Clicking it tells me I've been empowered by the grief of fallen dragons, and clicking it again shows some buffs, but are they currently working properly? The buffs don't seem to be increasing over time either...

DiscordDrake -> RE: Dragonlorn Keep - The Last Dragonlords + Z-Token Packages (9/28/2020 6:16:56)

It might work based on how many dragons you've beaten since log in.

We have an infosub for the pet. http://forums2.battleon.com/f/fb.asp?m=22384441
It's not a charging mechanic. It just boosts your Melee/Ranged damage by the amount it says in the message box at the top when you click it. In addition to the damage boost, it also gives you a Backlash effect like Essence of Carnage.

J9408 -> RE: Dragonlorn Keep - The Last Dragonlords + Z-Token Packages (9/28/2020 10:50:11)

I don't have the pet yet.

How powerful is the backlash effect when paired with Essence of Carnage?

Not very powerful due to being Harm.

If you ever want to utilize Backlash properly, you need to use the (currently) rare Dread Fiend of Nulgath (or a future clone).

moe -> RE: Dragonlorn Keep - The Last Dragonlords + Z-Token Packages (9/29/2020 7:23:27)

So is there a new set? Is it offensive?

joac1144 -> RE: Dragonlorn Keep - The Last Dragonlords + Z-Token Packages (9/29/2020 7:41:29)

There's no new set yet. This quest is only the pet from the set.

apophis324 -> RE: Dragonlorn Keep - The Last Dragonlords + Z-Token Packages (9/29/2020 7:45:02)

But if the pet only gives a boost as shown.. that's not a whole lot. It's barely any boost at all!

joac1144 -> RE: Dragonlorn Keep - The Last Dragonlords + Z-Token Packages (9/29/2020 9:09:01)

That's because only half of the pet's power goes into damage boost. The other half goes into the Backlash effect. But yes, all in all, the pet is not that good.

OverLordOfDeath -> RE: Dragonlorn Keep - The Last Dragonlords + Z-Token Packages (9/29/2020 10:17:24)

Is there any difference between staying or going deeper? I hope not since the status effects are ruthless if you're unlucky and you get forced to watch the enemies tear you apart while you do very little back. Seriously, no more status effects that prevents you from acting and damage also.

Lorekeeper -> RE: Dragonlorn Keep - The Last Dragonlords + Z-Token Packages (9/29/2020 10:25:01)

The potency of status conditions in subsequent layers is alleviated faster by fighting more waves in your current one, and you get a warning of how bad it is at each stopping point. You can therefore make the 'Go Deeper' option safer by continuing until it says 'Clear', rush the boss in as few as eight fights if you want to take your chances (Bearing in mind that the scroll will warn that the pressure is EXTREME), or pick a midpoint that you find acceptable.

EST OverLord -> RE: Dragonlorn Keep - The Last Dragonlords + Z-Token Packages (9/29/2020 13:19:59)

guess im just unlucky finding the painting got the orb using all the potions but for the painting area entered whit it had no negative effects and have been going trough about 5 tries using 25house potions still no luck soon i shall have it soon...
is the danger status factored in to the finding chance or not?

Darth Knight -> RE: Dragonlorn Keep - The Last Dragonlords + Z-Token Packages (9/30/2020 2:34:14)

Are the artifacts random drop? I tried many times and always brings me to the pet reward shop

Hymnsicality -> RE: Dragonlorn Keep - The Last Dragonlords + Z-Token Packages (9/30/2020 2:39:15)

I think artifacts have about a 10% drop rate but no pity timer. So you could get them all quickly or very, very slowly.

Kurtz96 -> RE: Dragonlorn Keep - The Last Dragonlords + Z-Token Packages (9/30/2020 3:37:41)

@Darth Knight
The artifacts are not in the shop at the end. They have a 10% chance of appearing on the heal/continue screen, on the left side.

The orb appears on the first level, the portrait on the second level.

sobodobo -> RE: Dragonlorn Keep - The Last Dragonlords + Z-Token Packages (9/30/2020 7:50:12)

I just went deeper and deeper, without realizing that there were some artifacts to look for.

OverLordOfDeath -> RE: Dragonlorn Keep - The Last Dragonlords + Z-Token Packages (9/30/2020 9:15:57)

Cray, I asked if there was a difference between staying on the floor or going deeper since if there isn't a difference, there is no point to going deeper. Doesn't matter if it gives you a warning since I didn't expect to be hit with a status ailment that disables me for multiple turns if you get unlucky or it has an absurdly high rate of happening. It's ridiculous since you don't want to watch the game play by itself and see the enemies tear you apart because of an ailment that you can't remove. It's just as bad as the werewolf effect as it can lock you down if you get unlucky enough and would be better if it had a (two turn?) limit or something like that so you aren't forced to sit there while you get torn apart.

Lorekeeper -> RE: Dragonlorn Keep - The Last Dragonlords + Z-Token Packages (9/30/2020 9:50:53)

As I said twice, staying on the same floor reduces the severity of the condition faced on the next floor.

You reach the boss by going deeper twice.

Hymnsicality -> RE: Dragonlorn Keep - The Last Dragonlords + Z-Token Packages (9/30/2020 10:53:12)

I wonder how effective werepyre's freedom skill deels with the daze. Any werepyres here willing to try it out?

toannghe1997 -> RE: Dragonlorn Keep - The Last Dragonlords + Z-Token Packages (9/30/2020 10:58:04)

Can confirm. I received no penalty (0 daze chance) when I fought monsters in the next level since I searched the previous floor multiple times

Of course, I can see that this might not be popular to everyone since players are used to receiving a full heal after fighting 2 battles. However, it should be noted that most of the monsters are not too tough (aside from those ghosts with the nasty energy sp nuke, though it's no problems if you have no daze penalty) and as long as you fight defensively (either using the best defensive setup you have or dodge as much as possible), blowing through the same floor mutiple times is completely possible. Just bring some extra health potions and prepare a good healing spells/pet/misc and you would be good to go

Edit: @Hymnsicality Very effective! The freedom skill of werepyre literally rid the daze debuff for the entirety of the fight, and I mean RID it!

I don't know if this is intentional, but once the daze debuff is countered by the freedom skill for the first time, it just dissapears until you fight a new monster. This also apllies for the boss as well
