PD -> Private Messages don't notify on forums anymore? (4/10/2021 14:02:51)

I checked my profile recently and it seems that the feature to have notifications on the forums no longer is toggle-able. Some of my messages which I've sent I don't think have ever been read because people aren't notified of their private messages anymore.
Is there a reason this was disabled or any way to re-enable this?
EDIT: It seems that I've only noticed this recently that a lot of other older features are no longer on the forums including viewing join dates.
