Sapphire -> Balance Standards for Quick Casts (1/27/2022 10:32:57)

Hi,

What balance standards are there for the variety of quick casts in the game?

We have miscs that both can be clicked as much as you want per turn provided enough resources (essence orb, pixel ether, shadowfeeder pendent)
We have miscs that can be clicked once per turn (zfinity, mixed nuts)
We have miscs that can be clicked once per battle (zfinity)

We have shields that can be clicked once per battle (defender of frostval's past)
We have shields that can be clicked as much as you want per turn provided enough resources (dragonlord's)
We have shields that can be clicked once per turn (dreamweaver's)
We have shields that can have multiple effects, but once per turn per effect (shieldcakes)

We have spells/skills that can be casted as much as you want per turn, provided enough resources (most of them, una poca, arcane amp, buffalot, moonwalker's grace, new years surprise)
We have spells/skills that can only be casted once per turn (Imanok Edoc)

There are others I am sure, and there might be something in a category I havnt listed that I either forgot about or don't know about.

Considering there seems to not really honestly be a consistency on turns, and even the power of effects are so completely random, again the question is ..what standards are there to dictate the "quick cast" category?

Essence Orb and Pixel Ether will be updated to follow Discount Mogloween Candy Bag's 2 time use per turn to convert a total of 100% melee, this creates tradeoffs for players who currently abuse through unlimited use the decreasing level tiers' increasing conversion efficiency with respect to resource scaling in level progression, the change will have them choose between efficiency and low quantity or inefficiency and high quantity.

Non-compression limited use effects have their MC as a power bonus that assumes a certain amount of turns, the restricted use ensures the assumption remains intact.

Zfinity assumes 10 turns of 5% melee before any penalty and thus is once per battle.

Mixed Nuts spends its MC on compression, as turn cost compression equipment can only use one of multiple options per turn like Armor skills/spells, they follows this characteristic to be used once per turn regardless of which skill was chosen.

Shieldcakes has their MC as a charge with multiple expenditure options and is designed to not allow stacking of its effects through one time use per turn.

Dreamweaver's Contempt is a once per battle effect that has its MC as a power bonus with additional Sp cost, the Elemental shield and Mana regeneration is distributed for 3 turns.

Imanok Edoc was designed to represent the Konami Code's values stated in the info subs, it is a measure to be self-contained by preventing stacking with itself to change those values, however it can be stacked with other sources of MRM boosts to have a higher value and different duration.

Quickcast only means there is no turn cost involved, limitations are considered to balance each item's design, the creative aspect in values used in each does not apply to all items, but remain within balance standards.

Shieldcake currently allows you to use multiple skills per turn.
