Just read the formulas for status inflict. Major, minor, etc.

But it looks confusing at first glance.

So a few questions:

Level: (InflictLevelStatistic - ResistLevelStatistic)/2
Major: (MajorInflictStatistic - MajorResistStatistic)/5, minimum -20, maximum +20
Minor: (MinorInflictStatistic - MinorResistStatistic)/10, minimum -10, maximum +10
Additional Modifiers: (NetInflictModifiers - NetResistModifiers)
Save Roll Difficulty = 51 + (Major + Level + Minor + Additional Modifiers)


1. Does this mean 51+ you win?

So 250 stat vs 250 = 0. Then you get the minor roll. 250 vs 250 = 0 also. If it has a +0 save, you win because the result is 51?

or You boost with the +105 quick cast (una poca/buffalot/arcane amp) and Now it's 51 + 355-250=105. 105/5=21 (20 is the max it says, so 20.

This becomes 71. Let's say you have 250 luck vs 250. That's a wash. So at +0 save you win w/71. In fact, you win even if the monster gets a +20? This bring this to 51?

or You boost with the +105 quick cast (una poca/buffalot/arcane amp) but the monster has 275 mainstat. 355-275=80. 80/5=16. 51+16=67. Luck stays 250 vs 250, so a wash. But save is +20 for monster, so 47. You lose.

Is this thinking correct?


2. Info subs entries nowadays will show "50% save" or "40% save" like with the 2 Creature 72's. (Pet/Guest) Is this another way to say 50% = +0 and 40% = -10?

Next, the monster rolls 1d100. There may be additional modifiers added to the roll(no cap). If the roll is equal to or higher than the Difficulty, then the monster resists the Status. Otherwise, it gains the Status.

Saves are from the perspective of the target who is the Resistor, they must roll lower than the Difficulty for the Inflictor to successfully inflict a status condition.
Keeping the above statement in mind, -10 is a penalty for the target a 60% save and +10 is a bonus a 40% save.
