You can play TM's Saga without interference from Book 3 as it is a Book 2 story. Just be warned, there is a reason that that particular saga is DF's resident Hiatus x Hiatus. Clear it until its current final quest, but don't wait for the next one as it has been ages since its last update. You might even finish up all of Book 3's current storylines and still not get the next update to that saga depending on how long we'll have to wait.
