    Ok, if a magic weapon is released with a 392 sp toggle to inflict blind when casting a spell (darkness?) that would be welcomed!

    It isn't exactly shocking that there's a GBI around these types of items. They are strong, indeed. After reading through it, I think there are some tidbits that deserve merit and discussion, but the scope entirely pushes the envelope far too much.


    I, for one, am having a blast using these items with this design.

    The April Fools LTS is scheduled for release later this month, alongside Grenwog Festival's. This is the last week to snag your favorite gear from the Winter Season, Legion, and Lunar New Year shops before they all leave next week!

    Wow, the bleed effect on the weapon is powerful.

    I wish the magic version triggered on fire spells instead of weapon hits, but it's still a very strong weapon if you have a way to lower enemy resistances. I feel like it could combo very well with Necromancer's DoT-stacking focus.

    there already is a melee earth auto hit weapon, would have liked to see another element covered.

    Really well done on the boss design- it gave a good challenge with some subtle mechanics and is a heavy hitter. It would be nice to have as a house guard for boss gauntlets [:)]

    I strongly agree with Corvid! Entertaining boss with interesting mechanics. I also love an older boss was reused / updated (Is the other one this strong too now? I'll have to go see) for a modern quest, very cool. And I would second getting a house guard version 100%
    Very enjoyable quest as well, some great jokes in that quest

    Can we have a checkpoint for this boss? I keep losing cause there is no way I can get sufficient Fire and Earth protection and having to fight all these mobs and go through the dialogue is getting a little tedious.

    Great challenge but I feel like I need a special set up here...

    What are good Earth and Fire dual resist set ups? ._.

    EDIT: This would be a great time to update the Nova Knight set :D

    There's almost never a need for special setups or elemental specialization or healing when you can stack things like choke and panic. I'd try that.

    Fair. I don't have Choke set ups but definitely see how that would be useful here.

    There is a guide on youtube titled "Yulgar Only vs Frenzied Guardian" if you can't beat the boss and need help.

    That being said, here's some super quick tips, some fire earth compression armors that can help you are: Tiger Luna Neko, Goragog Form, Wyrm Knight's Hide. If you don't have any of these, then I highly recommend using a fire armor, shield, and defensive misc, and making sure to deal fire damage every turn. This will make all the boss' damage be fire, and increase its damage by 1.5x compared to the earth damage it normally deals, but it makes it much easier to manage since you're only defending against one element

    Oh I didn't realize hitting it with fire makes it do Fire damage! I brute forced it but that's good to know.
