PaladinKell -> Owning two characters with exact same name allowed? (4/13/2024 9:31:17)

I’m coming back to DragonFable after about a 5 year hiatus, and am cleaning my DF character roster with new characters for a fresh start. However, I read somewhere that the first Dragon Amulet character can’t be deleted, even when I had purchased a 6-character upgrade. My first character is named Emily. In a nutshell, can I make a second character with the exact same name? Or do I have to make small workarounds, e.g. naming my second character Emily II? I’m asking because I want to restart my Emily character with a different base class, namely from mage to warrior, and don’t have the Dragon Coins to simply change my existing Emily’s base class.
