Can anyone give me a link to a page that has a list of the best top-level weapons for each element and their locations? There's a guy that gave me a list of weapons and I still have it but it doesn't have all the best top-level weapons for each element.

Laeon val Observis -> RE: Weapons (6/16/2025 6:58:53)

Are you meaning to imply that the best gear link that I provided to you on the Your Dragon DNs thread is incomplete (and mind you, I still see you spamming there)? Top level can mean two things, not always together: max level and best-in-slot (BiS). If it is the former, then the best gear list can have potential bias against them. If the latter, which seems to be where your lines of questioning lean towards to (that is, you are a power seeker) unless you want to correct this impression, then that list is up to date. At least, under the scenario that the Dragon's Ethereal Scale trinket released on last week's challenge has yet to be properly gauged to be BiS until possibly the ongoing war's completion. You may want to scroll down a bit further on that Google doc.

No there are some top-level weapons that I know that are not listed in this guide that you gave me, but I need weapons for some elements that I don't have and I can't get the challenge reward weapons from the Inn At The Edge Of Time, because right now the monsters are way too hard for me to defeat until I get the required defensive gear.

Laeon val Observis -> RE: Weapons (6/16/2025 19:47:38)

Well, good luck on that. But as a compression tip, this is not AQ. Simply having the Ultimate (Dragon Amulet) Scythe (which you already have) and Blades of the Great One (just progress further in the main story) is more than satisfactory. Covers you on the nine standard elements. Even then, you rarely need to be obsessed with all elements as the Inn is not as restrictive element-wise.

If you need to be a meta sheep, just acquiring Glaive of Eternal Peace will get you an Inn-level compression gear while getting a taste of the -Ice craze that most endgame players have. At the same time, you'll be just inches away from clearing Book 3.

EDIT: As another advise, even though it's out of your question's scope and limitations, you undervalue the Inn gear you already have. And do not be fooled by the more extravagant inventories more seasoned Inn players have. Most of our rewards tend to become trophies only. What you need is class mastery, and you can start with that by detoxing from being a DmK v1 main.

Windstar -> RE: Weapons (6/16/2025 20:40:54)

I know but I have three characters and each one of them has a different set of weapons, but I'm missing weapons for Void, Metal, and Ebil, and one of my characters is missing the Silver weapon of the Inn and the Verrad Scythe of the Inn, and I have Doom weapons on all characters that I need to upgrade from Corrupt to Unreal, but the Fallen Purpose Challenge is way too hard for me to win, but I'm still going to try again with other equipment when I get them, and I need to complete other challenges like Ice and Dragons to unlock class customizations for the classes that require completing a challenge to unlock the customizations.

Laeon val Observis -> RE: Weapons (6/16/2025 20:52:13)

Another advice, we don't really care how many chars you have due to the generalist nature of most gear you'll find, so you can scrap that as your reasons for being held back.

And you did a classical mistake for endgame starters, jumping straight to a fight way above your belt. Hence why this was developed to demystify the terrors of the Inn. Being a gloryhound is good, but if it is starting to bite back at you, follow that.

EDIT: Let me ask you this, did you really think that I earned Uragiri by having top of the line gear? I used pre-reimagined Pirate for that with shoddy equipment for my level. Technique well compensated for the equipment deficiencies. At this point, I'm hoping that I'm only sensing skill issue from you and not will issue. That is the crossroad you'll have to contend with if you want to maintain your ambitions to be an endgame player.

EDIT II: After reviewing the evidence further, your managing of multiple characters seems to be the root cause of why you are having issues with growing as an endgame player. That is, you are managing all three simultaneously. A commendable effort, but one wherein you are biting more than you could chew. I would suggest that you focus on strengthening your characters one at a time instead. That way, you'll actually have more time to study class and Inn combat technicalities, both video and non-video. And no, having different Base Classes is not an excuse. It has been years since a Base Class became a prominent choice for challenges, one of the iconic -if memory serves right- was Ascendant being a reasonable choice for Dominion of Dreams (it has long since been dethroned since the first reimagining of DeathKnight).

The Engineer of the Exaltia Tower is reviving his drones on each turn after I kill them, how can I defeat him if he keeps reviving them each turn?

SilverSoul -> RE: Weapons (6/17/2025 15:36:44)

IIRC you had to burst them down very quickly after taking down the drones.

You also have Exalted Apotheosis on your linked character so I'm pretty sure you managed to beat this boss before. Just do what you did before.

Windstar -> RE: Weapons (6/17/2025 19:50:51)

No when I used to defeat him before he wasn't reviving his drones immediately after I kill them, he was reviving them after five turns each time I kill them, but he must have bean updated that's why he does this, but when I got the Apotheoses on my main and third characters, he wasn't like this before, but now my second character just needs one final upgrade from Penultima to Apotheoses.

SilverSoul -> RE: Weapons (6/17/2025 21:12:18)

Try taking out the defense drone only. Seems if you take them both out they'll both be immediately revived next turn. Unfortunately, the fight would be easier if you can roll anything that lowers enemy immobility resistance while climbing up the tower, so you need to rely on some rng there. Some classes do have ways of lowering immobility resistance iirc, like technomancer, and your dragon's stun can ignore some immobility resistance depending on the point investment into mischief. Remember to keep yourself at above 50% hp so the offense drone doesn't heal Engineer to full.

Windstar -> RE: Weapons (6/19/2025 11:01:00)

Hi, can you give me a set of equipment that are good for defeating the Akriloth, the protector challenge, and the best classes that work for this challenge, and a few strategies, like who should I attack first, because Scales keeps buffing himself and Fang and Akriloth, so I get hit by massive attacks due to the critical strikes that they have, and I get stunned by scales and nerfed by both Akriloth and Fang?

Dratomos -> RE: Weapons (6/19/2025 13:53:32)

Youtube offers multiple tutorials for Inn. You can find them by going to youtube and typing Dragonfable and the name of the challenge you are struggling with.

Windstar -> RE: Weapons (6/19/2025 16:23:37)

no Youtube is not good for me, I don't understand anything they do in the video, and they don't put any details at their videos at all, so I can't use Youtube it's not going to help me at all.

Laeon val Observis -> RE: Weapons (6/19/2025 20:03:22)

Windstar, before you make any further inquiries anywhere -and based on your most recent response despite all efforts to attempt to make you a better player- the deadlock of your case can be summated as such: take it or leave it, no longer a matter of opinion.

Windstar -> RE: Weapons (6/20/2025 9:09:37)

Sorry but I'm nota smart player and I have many health issues that's why I don't understand anything from videos, but I saw in the videos that they do some type of charge-up first and then they unleash a massive attack after it, can you explain to me how they do that, because when I saw in a video how a guy defeated Pandora Extreme, he use Red Fruit in one fight and the other he just kept changing equipment, that's what I didn't understand from his video?

SilverSoul -> RE: Weapons (6/20/2025 14:50:51)

In general, those players have a few equipment sets that specialize in different things that they swap to for certain turns.

One set may be for doing as much damage as possible in a given turn. For example this set would likely have Veraad or Uragiri as those are the highest damage weapons, but they'll probably only swap to this when it's safe to. Red fruit boosts crit, so this will probably be used here too.

One set may be for stacking as much negative health resistance as possible so they can get a large heal off. Usually done if they're low on health and it's safe to do so.

One set may be for boosting their defenses so they could dodge a hard-hitting, highly accurate attack. I believe people usually pair this set up with their class's shielding skill.

Any other sets I may have missed. After that set's done with its purpose, they'll usually swap back to the main set used for the fight.
