@AQ Team

Hi. For the Space ZFinity Gauntlet, there is a typo in the skill description of Harden Space. "Solidify the space between you and your foe, greatly boosting yoru block rate for 1 turn!"

Reported this to Lorekeeper over a year ago, and he told me that he amended it in the back-end, but requires another staff member to go through the backlog and take them live, since he can't handle it himself.

This bug has been bothering me for over a year now. Since the ZFinity Gauntlets are returning again, please approve Lorekeeper's fix if y'all have the bandwidth. Thanks!

There is actually a Lunar Eclipse this weekend, although it's mostly visible only from the Eastern hemisphere, but would it be ok for the Eclipse LTS to be re-released as well? I am hoping that Lunar Eclipse themed weapons would someday be implemented as well, just as those Solar Eclipse themed weapons were implemented sometime back, but I can understand if there is no time for that now.

The Hollow -> RE: =AQ= Ashes to Arms (9/4/2025 16:08:46)

The release is LIVE! The Eclipse Shop is also back for a limited time.

Zeldax -> RE: =AQ= Ashes to Arms (9/5/2025 0:12:44)

It's worth noting that the Eclipse weapons are still bugged to inflict double their intended Bleed value. I imagine that the longer these remain unfixed, the bigger the possible community backlash there will be.

Aura Knight -> RE: =AQ= Ashes to Arms (9/5/2025 0:39:11)

The power wasn't intentional? It's the best thing about them. Surely if bugged a release week fix could have happened initially. Aren't we a few years in? At this point leave them be.

Lorekeeper -> RE: =AQ= Ashes to Arms (9/5/2025 0:56:36)

Leaving bugs of the magnitude of double power because they have slipped through the backlog, or because of any reason, is not an option. There are many such issues we've not yet had time to fix; that is not a confirmation that they will never be fixed.

I just wanted to drop by and say I really enjoyed this release, so much so that I ended up playing it through twice. There’s a lot to appreciate here, from the background art in the cutscenes, to the areas the Chosen fights through, the creative monster designs, and the animation of Gaspar and the Mecha attacking and fleeing. It feels like quite an art-heavy release that took a significant amount of time to put together, and the effort really shows.

From a storytelling perspective, I loved seeing the way the mecha’s strengths and limitations were portrayed against divine power and giant dragons. Enjoyed the showcase of intellect and competence of the player, and the characters in the world at large outside of the chosen. Gameplay wise, I think the Eclipsus Sentinel represents a good example of what the difficulty level should be for a regular mob. I know that this is supposed to be an end-of-quest monster, but if all regular mobs can pose the same level of difficulty (and surprise) as this monster, it will be a good way to curb player side power creep.

Overall, a huge fan of this release and am looking forward to see how this saga wraps up!

(P.S., Fix the typo in ZFinity Gauntlet: Space if you have the bandwidth)

CH4OT1C! -> RE: =AQ= Ashes to Arms (9/5/2025 17:28:20)

@Aura Knight: The eclipse weapons are certainly bugged, the power is not intentional. Under current standards, the Bleed would be worth:

quote:

Melee/Ranged: 55 [%Melee Invested] / 1.5 [Expected Turn Duration] / 2 [Inflicted per hit] / 100 [Bleed Conversion] = Power: 0.1833 per hit
Magic: 41.25 [%Melee Invested] / 1.5 [Expected Turn Duration] / 2 [Inflicted per hit] / 100 [Bleed Conversion] = Power: 0.1375 per hit

Zeldax -> RE: =AQ= Ashes to Arms (9/5/2025 20:28:44)

Eclipse weapons were released in April 2024, so it hasn't been a few years. But as I said, the possibility of community backlash only increases the longer it remains unfixed.

Ninjaty -> RE: =AQ= Ashes to Arms (9/5/2025 20:50:42)

Well, I'm now sad, because I found out that the primary strategy I've used for my main is apparently a mistake. Yaaaay....

Also, #JusticeForSparklehoof!
(For clarification, my deal with Sparklehoof is that I want the staff to make a pet version of it. It has not had its numbers adjusted.)

Aura Knight -> RE: =AQ= Ashes to Arms (9/5/2025 22:07:08)

Correction was applied.

Angelus111 -> RE: =AQ= Ashes to Arms (9/5/2025 23:00:22)

Does that mean that Sparklehoof Plush got nerfed somehow as well? I was just having tons of fun trying it on one of my alts for some wacky PrisBurn Build shennanigans during the last couple of weeks.

Zeldax -> RE: =AQ= Ashes to Arms (9/6/2025 0:48:15)

No I think Ninjaty just wants a Sparklehoof pet.

Ninjaty -> RE: =AQ= Ashes to Arms (9/6/2025 6:59:17)

Yeah, I want a Sparklehoof pet. :P
It is an injustice that such a nice design is only used for a misc. AN INJUSTICE, I TELL YOU!

Hollow said he would talk to the designer about it, but we haven't heard anything back yet. So I'm still out here, posting for Sparklehoof justice!

CH4OT1C! -> RE: =AQ= Ashes to Arms (9/6/2025 7:53:32)

For what it's worth, the numbers on the Sparklehoof info sub are correct!

quote:

Pris Burn Power: 20 [%Melee Invested] / 0.5 [Save] / 2 [Hits] / 8 [8 Burns] * 132/108 [Random Element Compensation] / 10 [Burn Conversion] / 2 [Duration] = 0.153

So, no @Angelus111, there's no need to nerf Sparklehoof (nor has it been). The compensation used to be *132/109, but the worst that standard would do is reduce it to 0.151.

Angelus111 -> RE: =AQ= Ashes to Arms (9/6/2025 16:15:04)

Thanx! @Chaotix @Ninjaty I guess I should have checked those numbers beforehand; my.bad.
