Slate15 -> Dark-blur sig (Defaults) [photoshop CS2] (3/8/2006 20:20:59)

if this image isn't showing correctly, please pm me. I hope this helps people and i wouldn't mind seeing some outcomes. there are grammer errors, but nothing that should impair you. i had to make it fuzzy so that i would show.

I want to see results

Dragoneill -> RE: Dark-blur sig (Defaults) [photoshop CS2] (3/8/2006 20:38:25)

Yea it is but its kinda too small to read.

Slate15 -> RE: Dark-blur sig (Defaults) [photoshop CS2] (3/8/2006 20:40:20)

i'm working on that. you can make out most of it in the mean-time

Firemoon -> RE: Dark-blur sig (Defaults) [photoshop CS2] (3/8/2006 20:40:59)

awesome tut Slate ill probably use this for my next sig :D

Reject -> RE: Dark-blur sig (Defaults) [photoshop CS2] (3/8/2006 20:43:36)

yay, you finaly made a tut, i'll wait to the bigger version comes out to really read, and maybe use it. lol. it hurts my eyes.

Slate15 -> RE: Dark-blur sig (Defaults) [photoshop CS2] (3/8/2006 21:00:34)

sorry to double post, but i can't delete the other and i need to say this.

I HAVE FIXED IT. it's fuzzy in return but at least you can see it....can a mod delete the post above this one?

Reject -> RE: Dark-blur sig (Defaults) [photoshop CS2] (3/8/2006 21:06:35)

Whoot!! Now it can be read!![:D][:D]

Firemoon -> RE: Dark-blur sig (Defaults) [photoshop CS2] (3/8/2006 21:10:37)

okies i gots a question. when your playing with the brush settings i cant change it to the screen your showing what should i click?

Slate15 -> RE: Dark-blur sig (Defaults) [photoshop CS2] (3/8/2006 21:13:42)

it says it there. click on the toolbar "window" and scroll down to "brushes" then click on the settings and change them.

if you haven't got it by tomorrow, i'll get a screen shot (bed soon)

Metal -> RE: Dark-blur sig (Defaults) [photoshop CS2] (3/8/2006 21:15:31)

Never sacrafice quality for file size. Upload to imageshack in two sections (Cut the tutorial in half and upload it as two images) Imageshack has a higher filesize allowance, and cutting in half will optimize your allowance. As of now I couldn't tell if it turns out to be a good sig or a bad sig because of the horrible quality.

Firemoon -> RE: Dark-blur sig (Defaults) [photoshop CS2] (3/8/2006 21:18:05)

well this is my problem

Slate15 -> RE: Dark-blur sig (Defaults) [photoshop CS2] (3/8/2006 21:48:58)

Metal, this was a "oh crap, i have 5 minutes to get this on the internet" solution. tomorrow i'm gonna go back, cut the tut in half, and upload the two halfs seperately.

Shadow: If you mean you can't get to the specific part that you change settings, then click on the name of the setting, next to the box.

Vee Kay -> RE: Dark-blur sig (Defaults) [photoshop CS2] (3/8/2006 22:54:38)

yea, agree with Metal. quite hard to see, but I can make out most of it.

can u send the links to the brush u used?

skyboy59 -> RE: Dark-blur sig (Defaults) [photoshop CS2] (3/8/2006 23:00:29)

yes i'd like to get brush set too :P well... kind of, i like to see them... doubt i'll use them much though, not my style... lol

um... also :/ you could make file smaller by using jpg instead of gif and by not having a bg on it

Vee Kay -> RE: Dark-blur sig (Defaults) [photoshop CS2] (3/9/2006 2:44:46)

My Result : [image]http://i51.photobucket.com/albums/f367/breakerofboundaries/Nightmare.jpg[/image]

Slate15 -> RE: Dark-blur sig (Defaults) [photoshop CS2] (3/9/2006 7:25:51)

this is a default tut. the brush is already on your program. it isn't the first brush, but the faded circle brush. i'll take a screen shot when i get home(at school).

Vampdragon: i like it. maybe you should go back to the layer that has the blurs and duplicate it once more and move it above Nightmare's head....ig you want to fill in some of the dark. Other then that it's nice.

Slate15 -> RE: Dark-blur sig (Defaults) [photoshop CS2] (3/9/2006 16:16:05)

Same issue as lat time, won't let me delete it. I finally seperated it. now it works.

btw, here is the screen shot of the brush.

[image]http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e400/Kakulicious/vectorified.jpg[/image]

tweaked it a bit. get it vectorified? cuz its a vector

well...at least i like it =P

Slate15 -> RE: Dark-blur sig (Defaults) [photoshop CS2] (3/9/2006 17:08:47)

looks like you may of skipped over some of the curve steps, but that's okay. experimenting is what gave me this style.

i like it.

kakumei65 -> RE: Dark-blur sig (Defaults) [photoshop CS2] (3/9/2006 17:10:31)

actually after the brushing i did everything my own way =P

Slate15 -> RE: Dark-blur sig (Defaults) [photoshop CS2] (3/9/2006 17:18:48)

hey, it works. i'm not complaining.

but do you think this is a decent style?

kakumei65 -> RE: Dark-blur sig (Defaults) [photoshop CS2] (3/9/2006 17:28:04)

yeah ^_^ but trust me. whatever you do DO NOT stick to one style. You will go into a slump or lose creativity. I did that with one style. Try different things and thats how you get better.

Slate15 -> RE: Dark-blur sig (Defaults) [photoshop CS2] (3/9/2006 17:29:17)

i try not to do the same style more then twice, unless i have improvements or it's really good.
