So... most of this no longer applies, and I'm not sure if this is even necessary anymore. Anyway, right after logging in, you'll see the 'Character Page' button above the 'Play' button. That's all that you have to do. Your character's ID is the number on the end.

This is just a quick guide on how to find your character's ID number for PvP purposes.
Method 1 - In Game
1) Log-In as you normally would. Select your character, and click 'Play'.
2) Click anywhere on your character's name, level, HP, or MP.

3) This opens up a character information pane. Your character's ID number is located in the lower-righthand corner.

Method 2 - Character Selection
1) Log-In as you normally would.
2) Click on the character you want to find the ID number for, and look at the left panel. Next to ID#: is your character's ID number, of course.
Method 3 - Character Page
1) Log-In as you normally would.
2) Click on the character you want to find the ID number for, and click 'Character Page' (right above 'Play').
Although this give you the "Character pages coming soon!" message. Check the Address Bar and copy down the number.
