VampireHSS -> What kind of tutorials are you looking for? (3/18/2007 10:51:29)

I want to write some tutorials for the community but I am not sure which ones would be more used. Feedback and opinions appretiated

The Razor -> RE: What kind of tutorials are you looking for? (3/18/2007 10:59:11)

Flash tutorials

Brontus -> RE: What kind of tutorials are you looking for? (3/18/2007 11:00:07)

yeh i go with flash tutorials

Hypnotic -> RE: What kind of tutorials are you looking for? (3/18/2007 11:01:04)

Full web template ^^

_Depression -> RE: What kind of tutorials are you looking for? (3/18/2007 11:04:47)

I voted Sig Tuts, but I don't necessarily mean full sig tuts, instead teaching tuts, like my BG tut. I don't care about making a tag the exact same way someone else did, but I'd love to learn how people do some of the good effects in their tags. A simple tut on how to make or do an effect or a certain outcome would be more helpful than just telling me to do it.

petermaxo -> RE: What kind of tutorials are you looking for? (3/18/2007 11:10:18)

I voted for flash tutorials, but what I'd like specificly is actionscript. I figured that that would be closer to flash than coding.

nolraitru -> RE: What kind of tutorials are you looking for? (3/18/2007 11:29:55)

I said Sig tuts. I'd like to see more "pro" tuts here, if at all possible.

Darklord517 -> RE: What kind of tutorials are you looking for? (3/18/2007 11:30:14)

Knowing what you are best at making Vampire,

I suggest that you make some more Signature tutorials. This is because i love most of your work and your tutorials provide to be very helpful!

dominic_r_monroe -> RE: What kind of tutorials are you looking for? (3/18/2007 11:30:27)

i voted different programs like pixia as when i first came here i had pixia so... its a good bg program if you ask me

Apocalyptic -> RE: What kind of tutorials are you looking for? (3/18/2007 11:39:58)

Sig tuts, but on GIMP, or sp that you can do on both PS and GIMP

I_AM_SO_EBIL -> RE: What kind of tutorials are you looking for? (3/18/2007 12:57:08)

Signature tuts
Art pieces on uncommon programs (Pixia, Paint Shop Pro, ...)
Tutorials on game making programs

Master Magic Mage -> RE: What kind of tutorials are you looking for? (3/18/2007 13:11:02)

sig tuts on gimp, maybe full, depends.

skyboy59 -> RE: What kind of tutorials are you looking for? (3/18/2007 13:41:03)

i'd like to see some tuts on lighting/blend/effects in bg, since i cant do those well and i see peopel throwing c4d in as bg since it does have lighting/effect but no blend with actual piece lol

then for sig, different styles would be nice, a lot of them are the same tuts just different render/colors lol

seaodessa -> RE: What kind of tutorials are you looking for? (3/18/2007 15:14:59)

i'd like some GIMP tuts, preferably BG ones, as i can only make one atm

Phrase -> RE: What kind of tutorials are you looking for? (3/18/2007 16:19:41)

flash, full web templates, signatures, 3d, lp.

The One To Rule -> RE: What kind of tutorials are you looking for? (3/18/2007 17:46:40)

Signatures plz

Zero Hex -> RE: What kind of tutorials are you looking for? (3/18/2007 19:03:24)

Voted for LP tuts. >_>

I want to learn how to make good ones. xD And deviantart doesn't help. T__T -remembers all the horrible KAWAIIIII tuts-

I'd vote Sig tuts if it focused on specifics, like the parts of a sig. xD Not the full sig in general.

Nicky -> RE: What kind of tutorials are you looking for? (3/19/2007 3:02:20)

I'm pretty much interested in everything except maybe Game-Making programs. (No offense intended to anyone who did vote that.)

Decided not to vote, as I'm in favour of most items.

I think as a result of the wide art appreciation of the community, a large spread would be a good idea, a few for each category, not all made by only you though. The whole community can pitch in. This could also be a community project, if you will. (To increase the tutorial count.)

Krieg -> RE: What kind of tutorials are you looking for? (3/19/2007 12:53:58)

I'd have to say a combination of coding and tutorials on game making programs. In truth, I'd like to see some people learn C# so that we can get some projects here made from Microsoft XNA Game Studio... or just to learn how to make games from programming languages instead of cheating using limited game making programs.

In my opinion, there are enough tutorials out there to cover most of the others (SideFX Houdini Master anyone?).

[AD].Blade -> RE: What kind of tutorials are you looking for? (3/19/2007 20:35:58)

defienetly need some vastaire tuts here
i voted for signature

if you want il help and try to get some PRO tuts
im kinda tired of all the mod and novice tuts being posted here (no offense )

VampireHSS -> RE: What kind of tutorials are you looking for? (3/20/2007 16:49:31)

Okay. Now I want specifics. Here goes the final information I am searching for.

On "Coding tutorials" I need a list of languages you would like to see tutorials on.
On "Full web template tutorials (designing + coding)" I need the languages in which you want the template to be coded.
On "Signature tutorials" I need to know the specific parts you are looking for.
On "Large Pieces tutorials" I need to have some sort of idea of the gender of the pieces (example: c4d).
On "Art pieces on uncommon programs (Pixia, Paint Shop Pro, ...)" please list those uncommon programs in which you would like to see tutorials.
On "Flash tutorials" I need to know what part(s) of Flash (actionscript, animation, drawing, ...).
On "3D tutorials" I need to know the program.
On the last option I won't need help :).

This poll will be open until the end of the week. I might do the tutorials ordered by number of votes. So first it would be signature tutorials, then flash tutorials and so on.

Thanks for everyone that posted and voted.

Brontus -> RE: What kind of tutorials are you looking for? (3/20/2007 16:51:29)
