you are a prisoner in a foreign land. your fate will be determined by a little game. there are two jars, one with 50 white marbles, and one with 50 black marbles. at this point, you are allowed to redistribute the marbles however you wish (e.g. swap a black marble with a white marble, etc.): the only requirement is that after you are done with the redistribution, every marble must be in one of the two jars. afterwards, both jars will be shaken up, and you will be blindfolded and presented with one of the jars at random. then you pick one marble out of the jar given to you. if the marble you pull out is white, you live; if black, you die. how should you redistribute the marbles to maximize the probability that you live; what is this maximum probability (roughly)?
I'd take a folded piece of card board, jam it in the jar, spread it out so that it divided the jar into two sections, scrawl something on one side, pour the white marbles in that side and the black ones the other, then I'd just feel for the scrawled part and pick a marble from the bottom of that section.

Soooo.... Were you the inventer of AQ Cards? If you weren't, then who was?
Nope, I took over for tortissboy early last summer, I think. I know that chrislee made the cardbases, Ninja of Light made the other sets. Many people have contributed to the sprites. I'm not sure which group of people actually started the whole thing, though...
AQ Cards makes my life better.

Which is the favorite AQ Card that you have made?
hm... probably the one that was in this thread earlier, since it's the one that I've done the most customization for, though the 100K is the favorite sprite that I've made.

Simple stuff can look better than you'd expect. :) You might want to change the red background or teal text so that it doesn't clash as much... makes the eyes do funny things, which makes the text hard to read.

How and why did you start making those AQ character cards?
It mainly started when I first started getting interested in making my own sigs. I'd go looking around in the OOC Room (This was on the old boards when sigs were made in OOC.) for sig threads that needed some help with things or were too far behind. I made some "pick up" cards for Sonic, AQ, MegaMan, and a few other threads. Eventually, I started doing a bit more with AQ Cards when tortissboy headed it. Then, it was mainly just me. Then a few others came along, and we realized that we needed a new thread; the old one had gotten to be around 15 pages, I think... it got to 19 before we actually made the new thread, since we wanted to wait for some response from tortissboy. We never got one, so I made a new thread and things continued from there. tortissboy did drop by once, a while ago, and seemed to like what was going on. :)
