 This is a spinoff of the Meet the Mods thread. You can fire questions to the ArchKnight of the week. The purpose of this thread is to allow the public to learn a little bit more about us and to realize we are quite human!

Anyway, as you can tell, I'm your hostess, per se, for the week. If you're wondering why we're here, it's because I can only edit your posts here. ^-^;

Hello ^_^

When did you and Silverwing first meet and decide to make a cooperative guide?
We actually met officially when she was rating in the first Allstars Rating Center but we'd bantered back and forth a few times answering questions in the ES board. As for the actual date it was 3/20 because we'd talked about some of the things we'd noticed were needed since we were both raters and then a couple of problems came up that night which semi-forced our hand into re-dueing the Rating Arts Guide. After that we found out we worked well together and kept at it although life is kinda getting in the way of our latest projects.

Do you actually remember me? I still remember when you introduced me to the forum's dos and don'ts back when I was a Tourist. You were just a member back then.
Of course I remember you although life has kinda taken me away from the forums and everyone but I still remember people ^_^ I'm glad that I was able to help you out ^_^

What's your favourite element? (Periodic table, not Earth, Fire, Wind etc.)
Hmmm...you mean you're actually going to make me think after a long day at work :P Well considering I'm not very familiar with the Periodic Table any more I'll just guess and say probably Silver but if I could remember all the elements it might be diferent.
Silver? :P Lol. Mine is Lithium. Its unreactive, just like me. XD

Did you get any titles in between the jump from Member to Mod?
The only title I got between Member and ArchKnight {now ArchQueen} was Ratings Queen, but before I could get use to the Ratings Queen Title it was switched on me withing the same week. Three or four days apart can't remember as it happened so quickly.

Hmm... There are alot of people on that AK list whom I don't know.
Don't feel bad I didn't know 3/4 of them before I was chosen to be an AK so it's all cool. A lot of it depends on which board(s) you frequent.
That's very true.

How do you manage from making guides, to AKing, to being an ArchQueen, to answering questions, to getting on with your out-of-forum life? Alot of things to juggle there!
Well during the Guide making process I was actually working a very, very lax job and had plenty of time to do what ever I wanted so it was pretty easy not only that once I actually get started on something I can usually bust it out pretty quickly. Lately it's become more of a challenge since I've gotten a new job but things are starting to calm down and soon a rutine will be in place so I can rejoin the forums and work more on projects and such.

Hmmm...probably the Siberian Tiger although the Panther is cool too.
I was thinking more of housecat, but yeah, I should've specified. I like Lions.

By the way, you missed some AKs on your list. For example, The Ancient One does Help and Support. (I think he's an AK. Maybe he's a mod. I'm not totally sure.)
AO is on the list :P didn't look hard enough. Besides I just copied this from Coronet's post to save time and you know how things change all the time around here.

And you should post a (Asleep) or (Online) indicator type of thing like the other mods, or else no one will be sure whether you're online or not!

Hmmm...4/6/05 was the date I became an ArchKnight

2) Do you enjoy being a mod so far?
Yep I thoroughly enjoy being an ArchKnight which is different then a Mod. Mods have way more powers and responsabilities then AK's. Actually quite a big difference.

3) Who do you think should be elected as a mod (strictly speaking)?
Twas not aware that we needed more Mods or are you refering to possibly another ArchKnight?

4) Do you spend more time in the game or in the forums?
Right now it's absolutly no contest at all Forums since I've only logged into the game once in the last 6 weeks or so :( darn work schedule.

5) Can you try to update Olestas Specials Guide, if Olestas is not around? (requested by mightykillr2)
Yes I could but it would actually be down on the list of priorities of things I need to get accomplished once I gain the time to actually become active again. Although if I can ever complete my project Olestas's guide actually will no longer be needed

So, how did you find Adventure Quest, and how long did you play before joining the community?
I found AQ from a link off of MegaToyko.com and played it for I want to say about a week before even visiting the forums and then well as they say the rest is history ;)

I don't know when your coming back to rating with SiLvErWiNg and co., but I'm sure it will be one glorious day!
Well that actually will depend more on her schedule now but possibly in the fall after School starts up and she's settled into her Dorm. But I've tossed the idea around of opening up a mini-center myself just for my day's off but not sure if I'll do that or not yet.

Completely no clue. Reens found the pic while looking for a new Avvy and when I'd mentioned I needed a new Avvy {if you remember the old one you know why :P} she allowed me to use it.

What inspired you to begin to rate?
I'm not sure if anyone actually inspired me to begin to rate but the closest would have to be Darkbattler.

Any idea as to why I named myself this username? (the numbers are random...)
I know you've told me before but unfortunatly my brain is no longer working so as for answering your question I can't :(

Got any video game consoles? If so, which ones?
Use to own a PS2 before it died :( but now that money is soon to become a non-issue again I'll be getting it again. Still own a PS but I gave it to my Niece and Nephew so they could play some games. Some times the old games are great but the graphics...leave a bit to be desired :P

If you have more than 1, whats your favorite? I find myself re-hooking up the ol' SNES from time to time!
Nope don't own multiples upgraded to PS2 since it plays all my PS games ^_^

Got any talents in sports or art or something else? If so, what are they?
Singing somewhat but not profesional like. No real outstanding talents but kinda good in a lot of things.

Nope since the limit is30 pages long. But I accomplished everything in that thread that I wanted to do ^_^ have the largest thread in the shortest time frame. Then Silver and I filled up a 30 page thread in two weeks ^_^ that was a bit stressful at times.

Tis the user name I've used for a very long time I added the 77 because I figured with such a popular game/forum there would have already been another Spellfire but allas I'm the only one ^_^ But as for the how it's actually the name of my fav book (Forgotten Realms genre)

You are coming along quite nicely but IMO you really need to work more on offering explanations and expanding by going into detail more (just from what I've seen) when you were helping out.

Doing good still slightly busy but becoming better ^_^ hense the increase in forum/mIRC activity.

Do you like weapons (in real life, that is)? If so, any particular class of weapons? I'm a fan of the Longspear class of weapons, myself.
The Katana is awesome but I love the dagger that's all curvy/wavy can't ever remember the name of it though :(

Well I definatly don't eat people sooo :P I'd say more of a Plant then Animal since I don't eat a whole lot of meat.

I see you're still really, really busy. Would you say your workload has gotten any heavier or lighter since I talked to you last time?
The load is getting slightly easier but not reduced in any way. But I'm able to start being a bit more active.

Hmm... if you could visit any one place in the world, what would that place be?
Hmmm...so many places to visit but if only one...it's extremely tough since there is so many I wish to visit but probably Itally.

Let's see... movies. What movie would you say is you favorite? Least favorite?
Fav movie right now is actually Forever After...least fav...probably Highlander since it always puts me to sleep and I've yet to see the whole thing but I really hate those comedies that are made so stupid that they are suppose to be funny.

You mentioned Megatokyo earlier, so I'm curious: Do you read any other webcomics? If so, which ones?

Nope tried the guitar once but didn't spend a whole lot of time leaning it and never had any real desire to play something.

Sure but they've been put on hold for a smidge.

Finally, time travel. Do you think that if it existed it would be feasible to pull off without massive implications to the timeframe? And do you think it'd be really, really hard to understand?
Hmmmm...unfortunatly it would cause mass problems because so many things would get changed in the past that our knowledge of the future would be worthless :( although it's fun to dream about things we would do differently. As for it being hard to understand yea...tis a complicated mater.

Is there an ArchKing? Or are the AK's a monocratic group?

Without meaning to sound mean *adopts puppy eyes* why do raters exist? Shouldnt people be encouraged to play the game how they want, not how someone else says is best?
Ahh...but the exact same can be said for the entire Strategy section of the board...why does it exist at all??? Yes people should be encouraged to play however they want and your Good raters just offer pointers and tips to help one improve their character so as to improve the game playing experiance. I use to offer the exact same advice to each and every person but after creating my guides and learning more about weapons and spells and such I've become better at giving specific advice based on that particular character. But there are those who don't care about enjoying the game they just want the best of everything so hense the Strategy boards.

Working. Switched jobs to what some might call a real job so I've been working about 50+ hrs a week. For the first few weeks it was close to 80 something because it was two jobs but things are getting better.

Well with work I've not been able to grace much of anything lately :( but #battleon never appealed to me much at all. I pop in on occasion but mainly I stick to my private channels. Also I'm not good with some of the other sections besides Q&A but that's been covered quite well recently so I've not been needed.

Hmm, my main char has never been rated, can you rate it plz (by pm, click char link)?
Possibly once I re-open my center but right now times not on my side :(
