[*]Higher leveled mecha give more exp/credits per fight.[/ul]
7. TERMINOLOGY

MQ - Short for Mechquest

Artix Entertainment - AKA AE. They made the game.

DoT - Damage over Time. The affected mech takes damage each turn. Wears off after a few turns.

BoT - Buff over Time. The affected mech slowly grows stronger over a series of turns. Wears off after a few turns.

HP - Hit Points

EP - Energy Points

Rare - Some items and mecha are rare. They are available only during an event (often a war). Some rares return from time to time but most will never be available again.

Star Captain - Someone who has paid real world money to receive in-game benefits. Often shortened to SC.

Nova Gem - A special form of currency. To get gems, you must pay real-world money or use AExtras. Often abbreviated NG.

Sepulchure - Affectionately nicknamed "Seppy". To get this mech, you must buy a real-world T-shirt and spend NGs. It is generally the strongest player mech (i've fought a few and I can attest to that!).

8a. AVAILABLE RARE F2P PLAYER MECHA

[*]The Jameson Mecha are no longer available. More rare mecha will be available soon.

Hey great guide! You forgot the Quickflash lvl 20, which it's better than many lvl 20+ mechas.

@general greivous
Thank you.

@AbelC
Yeah, i'll add that. I can't believe I missed that...

@hauntar
Thanks for the PMs. Added your name to the spreadsheet links as promised.

@ZamuelNow
You're right, DPA doesn't have the shield. Editing that too.

Very good guide. Instead of quoting, make this look good with Bolding, underlinng etc.
On Useful links, The link to Encyclopedia is broken. Correct link: http://forums2.battleon.com/f/tt.asp?forumid=244

The pedia entry of Mystraven v3.8 says it has Boost +5. So, check correctly. :)

@13
Planning to make it look better.
Maybe I should abandon my Gamefaqs one...

Also, will check Mystraven's boost.

EDIT: I'll do ALL the promised edits and remove my gamefaqs guide after dinner (I'm GMT+8)

Change the Title of your guide because F2P just seems not right. Maybe a name like Mech Guide for Star Pilots should be fine

^^Mecha Guide for Non-Star Captains is a better title to use.

Also, there is gap on link to MQ Spreadsheet. Please fix it with this: http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=p-hQbirSzafCa4aoq_KtiaA&gid=1
I think you should change title and I like the suggestion of venturer90.

If you want, I can code this one to look pretty. If you're having problems or having no idea, leave it to me.

@all
Haha. Ok. Editing it now.

Periodically saving so it may look weird

EDIT: Sorry everyone. Can't finish it. Will finish it up tomorrow.
EDIT2:Nearly done. Will also add a new mech: the level 33 Blade Maniac!

EDIT3: Done! It now looks a lot better. Also, i've added most of you to the "Thanks to..." section.

I am sorry, but I really do not see the use of this guide. One, most of the information found in this guide can be found in the MQ Encyclopedia. This means that not even half of your guide is your own content. Also, this guide is not very feasible, because as MQ progresses, this guide will get way too long. This problem would be rectified by an index, but I cannot approve this guide nor move it to the MQ Encyclopedia as someone requested. If the thread starter wants this in the MQ Encyclopedia, it would be best for him/her to ask Yahno2000. If the thread starter wants the code to this, I will be happy to give it to him/her.
