Did you know that WOWICANUSEAHANDWITHTHISONE is exactly 26 letters? Could be vignere cipher... I haven't really seen anyone talk about Eldron's weird message in the picture, but this could be the "forest" that we are missing?

Edit - Thanks.... I now know what a vignere cypher is... kind of.
Oh, I've talked about what Eldron says in the picture before...
I asked if that could've meant anything :O

A forest is several trees.Until we not estabilish a connection between the trees,Eldron's message could very well be of another forest.

Theres this other thing that kinda makes me feel weird. Why does Eldron say "OOC" in post #156. It could be a referal to post #88 by Evil Moo!... Maybe we missed something that we should have known?

You guys take everything too literall. We see the tree, not the forest, as in we are focusing on something too much and not paying attention to the whole puzzle.

If you seek to solve the first puzzle in binary, then the thumb must be left out, as if ANY finger is held down the thumb is also. Each hand would be a 4-bit string.

I was just stating some of the weird things... I mean... Why would he leave a 3 letter word there... and coincidentally, theres a AK that has the very same initials... I'm just saying it could be a clue, since we are all trying very hard to get on the right track... Moreover, Eldron has yet to say anything about that quote, unlike the one he says to be a mistake...

Hm, I was looking through the older posts of this... and I found the above, which I recall nobody solving... vignere cipher?
Edit: Notice how it says "A clue, a puzzle, and a key to the puzzle" Now, you need a key for vigenere ciphers... Maybe the key would be... "the lesson and challenges here among the first ever known to man" could the key be fire? Edit - No, the key is not fire... I also tried man, discover, discovering... rock.
I'm randomly guessing here.

I'm going to keep guessing random keys for the message... I may get something... Any idea's as to what the key is?

 OOC = Out Of Character.

In Eldron's case, it means that in that post he is speaking as a staff member and author of the puzzles, not as Eldron, Caelestian God of Good.

As for Evil Moo, he is an AK in the OOC Forum, the part of this boards where you can talk about subjects completely unrelated to the AE games.

I'm awake and just read the two pages yall made when I was sleeping. So basically we haven't moved much :/
If the hand puzzle thing needs to be in binary why not do the obvious and just each finger up is a 1 and down is a 2
Maybe the hands and the sign language was just a red herring and we need to look at the fingers.
Anybody going to try it or should I?

Nope just tried the first line and it didn't work :/
I was hoping it was just that easy

Right now I'm too busy trying to decode the cipher that we have to solve right now

Ohmygosh I'm 100% sure that the code is a vigenere cipher!!!! I just can't find the key.......

Why don't you try one of their names as the key, or maybe even the first known to man as they key. That sentence could hold the key for the cipher.
