I tried a focussed Character in AQ now I wanted to try a more versatile one. The stats I wanted to focus on were Str, Int, End, and Luk. Meaning an almost bear minimum accuracy and trust me I'm feeling it. This was my idea by level 30.

Str:55
Int:20
End:15
Dex:0
Luk:50
Cha:10

IS this Okay.

More than a Game

Stats are quite spread out, too spread out in my opinion, but the opinion is mine's, not yours. With more versatality comes with less power. I guess if the way that you want it, fine.

Level 30
STR: 65
INT: 30
END: 10
DEX: 0
LUK: 30
CHA: 15

As I said before, I don't really like this build. With low CHA, you won't be able to use the 'best' pets when more high level pets are released. Your Blocking and hitting will take a major loss with that 0 DEX. If I were you, I'd switch LUK with DEX, and then CHA with LUK. Notice how I decreased the LUK? You don't need that much, thats why I put it into the STR and INT, for more BtH.

Level 50
STR: 80
INT: 55
END: 15
DEX: 0
LUK: 50
CHA: 50

Its would be quite balanced at level 50. You have the STR there for the BtH and the stat bonuses. LUK would help with that too. If you like pets, there's your 50 CHA. If not, I'd place it into DEX. END is kept at a minimum 15--Pretty low, you might not survive some fights. The INT is there for healing spells and the such; if you feel you don't need it, you can take away 5 points or so and put it into any stat, depending on which you want to enhance.

Is it worthwhile for me as a pure striker to untrain my DEX and go pure strength? There seems to be two different views, one to keep DEX just under STR and another to go 200 STR then train other stats.

Is STR BTH that high that you can stay DEXless for a while?

My WF guy is on my AQ link...

dex is important it increases both ur chance to block and for ur damage to actually hit, 200 str doesn't mean a thing if you can't hit the enemy. what cha should i have for my level almost level 45? currently 110 str, 75 dex, 30 end and 5 cha

Legendary_Swordsman: DEX doesn't increase damage(in WF).

Lord General:
Pure Striker would be trained STR, DEX, END, LUK ~ More focus on STR(as the main) and DEX

quote:

Strength(STR) - Increases Melee damage and bonus to hit(BTH) with Melee Weapons
Dexterity(DEX) - Increases bonus to hit(BTH) percent for all attacks and dodging ability.

  • Stat Bonus: STR/8 to damage, STR/16 + DEX/16 + LUK/20 to BTH

  • If you go for damage, then STR is the main stat to train first.
    As you can see the numbers of STR and DEX are equal for the Stat Bonus to BTH.

  • If I were you at level 45, I'd prefer to train your DEX until 100 which would be equal with your 100 STR. 5 point into END.
    Your Pure Striker(astimate as Striker) would be 100 STR/DEX, 25 END. You'll be fine with this build.
    Next you just can train STR(until at maximum) ahead with <50 END behind, then DEX, and LUK as the last stat to be trained.

    Remember that the trainingcost 150 - 200 is ridiculous.
  • See my WarpGuardian Pure Striker(on my AQ link) ~ 200 STR, 25 DEX.
    I just payed the trainingcost from 50 STR - 200 STR with Z-Tokens. :p

    Trainingcost:
    quote:

    150 STR - 155 STR -> 10097 Gold = 504 Z-Tokens
    155 STR - 160 STR -> 12621 Gold = 631 Z-Tokens
    160 STR - 165 STR -> 15777 Gold = 788 Z-Tokens
    165 STR - 170 STR -> 19721 Gold = 986 Z-Tokens
    170 STR - 175 STR -> 24651 Gold = 1232 Z-Tokens
    175 STR - 180 STR -> 30814 Gold = 1540 Z-Tokens
    180 STR - 185 STR -> 38518 Gold = 1925 Z-Tokens
    185 STR - 190 STR -> 48148 Gold = 2407 Z-Tokens
    190 STR - 195 STR -> 60185 Gold = 3009 Z-Tokens
    195 STR - 200 STR -> 75231 Gold = 3761 Z-Tokens
    ------------------------------------------------------------ +
    Total: 335.763 Gold = 16.783 Z-Tokens

    Lol thanks Mister Strangeface.

    I raised my STR to 140, all I can realistically afford and still leave me some funds for equips.

    I'm going to untrain my END since it's not needed right now and start training DEX. Since stats of 150+ are pretty crazy cost-wise (better than AQ, though) I'll probably do like a 150/150/50 and the rest on luck. We'll see...we still have a while to go.

    LordGeneral,

    Hmm, well, at the end, you'll eventually have the same build. This is just how you want to approach it. I like higher, or average DEX not only because of the BtH it gives, but because of the blocking ability. Armors right now have quite low blocking defenses, and it'd be good to have the extra blocking defense. Its not really an important thing, just good to keep in mind. You do have about extra 9 BtH (more when you keep training DEX / LUK / STR) right now, though, so that should do fine.

    Mysterious Strangeface has an excellent Stat Training guide, you should follow that. Gives you quite a bit of options; I'm pretty sure theres a low DEX Striker on there somewhere :P If you can't find one you like, just take away 5 points here, add it onto there, etc.

    Legendary_Swordsman,

    Looks good, looks good. I'd leave CHA to train when the levels get higher (perhaps 60-70), when BM pets are released. Right now, pets don't do much, and you can pretty much deal with any monster with your weapons.

    If you find things too easy and want weapon power or pet power, you can untrain 10 END or so, and put it into STR or CHA, depending on your fighting style.

    Whatcha need help on, helloguy? :P

    helloguy,

    Ah, thanks for the link, Strangeface :)

    Stats are looking half done... Looks to me like a Striker build, since you only have STR trained. Right now, you have 100 Stat points with 60 missing. I'd raise STR to about 50, 30 for DEX and 10 for LUK. That way, you have good BtH from STR and DEX, decent blocking from DEX, and added bonuses from LUK. If you don't like it, give or take 5 points or so, and put them into another stat. Keep your END at 10; it'll be all you need.

    Your weapons are fine, except for one or two. I'd take away the WarpShovel. You have a Earth default weapon already, weak, but still a weapon nonetheless. Replace it with the element your'e missing: Water. For Water, do the new Red Dwarf quest and get the Used Hullscuffer. With the right stats, it beats out the Lazer Gun, which is 4 levels higher. The Murky Beam Staff can be replaced with the Galaxythe; its special is more reliable. The rest are looking good.

    Gauntlets, Armors, Pets, you pretty much have half an inventory, but thats understandable :P

    Spells, spells, spells... Looks good. You might as well pick up the Partial Vacuum, though. Its only level 3, but hey, you never know when spells come in handy.

    An empty misc section?!?! *O noe!! All is losssttt!! o.O ~jkjk* All is not lost, but unless in the most dire circumstances, you won't really need a misc to kill a monster. I'd get the Emerald Star of Bravery or Temura's Trust; they give different resistances, but they both give CHA. Pick up both if you like, its not going to clog up your inventory, but I'd get the Star of Bravery since its 10 levels higher. I'd also get the Gravas Bud, its only 9 gold, and what harm can an extra Misc do?

    These are just my opinions, and it is your character. Do whatever, the final choice is up to you. If you have any further questions... PM me! :D

    Just took a quick skim at your guide, Mysterious Strangeface, and whoah! I didn't recognize it! :P If I have time, I'll read it more thouroughly later, but I've got a busy schedule today. An edit will probably be made S.O.O.N :p

    Here is a list of weapons you should have per level made by Mazic

    The best offensive armor would be, in my opinion, the WarpTrooper Armor, from Tronzor, highest level possible. The best defensive armor, depending on the level, would be the Heavy Gunner Armor or the AAA Cell Energizer (both highest level possible).

    Decided to go for a more focused build on WF than AQ.

    Build is 85 STR, 80 DEX, 15 END, 10 LUK and i am lvl 38!

    This is my link http://aq.battleon.com/build30/charviewWF.asp?temp=63250001. I can now replace Warshovel as Guardian Blade is better!!

    I guess it's a Striker or it can be as a Pure Striker. What's the link of your WF character if you don't mind? :p
    LUK is actually no need to be trained at low level which means that the 10 LUK can be untrained and just put it into other stats.
    If I were you, just put the 10 points into END or into STR/DEX.
    If the LUK is just for the Lucky Strikes which is too low for the effect and damage, then it's up to you.
    Otherwise, just follow your style play and if it's needed take some advices from others.

    L 40 | 90 STR, 80 DEX, 30 END | 80 STR/DEX, 40 END |
    L 45 | 100 STR, 90 DEX, 35 END | 90 STR/DEX, 45 END |
    L 50 | 110 STR, 100 DEX, 40 END | 100 STR/DEX, 50 END |

    Please take a look here for the Stats Training. :-)

    Hello, fellow forumites lol. I usually wander MQ forums, but now I have a doubt about my stat build.

    I think it is a bad training I'm doing, so i want to shake off all respective doubts. Could you comment if you see something that must be changed?.

    Here it is:

    Char Name: Venom
    Account: WG
    Char Level: 38

    STR: 60
    DEX: 45
    INT: 0
    END: 50
    CHA: 35
    LUK: 0

    Thx in advance =)

    A Beast Striker? As I say to many others, you won't need 50 END at level 45. 20 is more than enough to get pass the RA. Untrain it to 20, and decide where to put them. I'd train them into STR and DEX, for damage, BtH, and blocking chance. By level 45, a Beast Striker, with more STR than DEX (like what your's is now), in my eyes would look something like

    STR: 90
    DEX:75
    INT: 0
    END: 20
    CHA: 40
    LUK:0

    The CHA is at a low 40 because your source of damage won't come from pets, it'll be from weapons instead. Until better and higher level pets are released, you can have CHA lagging behind STR and DEX.

    Star Ninja build??
    In my opinion, Ninja(Ranger/Gunner) wouldn't be trained STR.
    It's just a Striker that DEX as the main stat and STR behind, more dodging ability but less damage.
    quote:

    Strength(STR) - Increases Melee damage and bonus to hit(BTH) with Melee Weapons
    Dexterity(DEX) - Increases bonus to hit(BTH) percent for all attacks and dodging ability.

    Strikers
  • Stat Bonus: STR/8 to damage, STR/16 + DEX/16 + LUK/20 to BTH

  • That's your Star Ninja build as your style play, the stats are ok. :-)
  • A typo on your WarpForce link: It should be WarpForce Forums instead of WarpForce Fourms

    See AQ link below name for character page.

    Now STR - 90, DEX 90, END 15, LUK 10

    Will aim for STR 100, DEX 100, END 15, LUK 10

    So far hitting in the high 90s and low 100s ..

    Your character build looks prettig good, but as said LUK is actually no need to be trained at low level
    which means that the 10 LUK can be untrained and just put it into other stats.
    If I were you, just put the 10 points into END or into STR/DEX.

    Pure Striker would be trained STR, DEX, END, LUK ~ More focus on STR(as the main) and DEX
    Personally, I believe that STR is more important and should always be ahead and DEX behind.
    However, some prefer STR and DEX ahead with <50 END behind, and LUK as the last stat to be trained.
    It's up to you, it depends on your own preferences.
    L 5 | 25 STR | 15 STR, 10 DEX |
