ED Suggestions Official Disclaimer/Copyright Restrictions Information
Submitting ideas does not in any way mean your art, ideas, etc. will be used or included in any way. Any ideas submitted to Artix Entertainment, LLC (AE) are free to be used by AE as desired. Any ideas, art, works, or suggestions submitted to Artix Entertainment, LLC (AE), or a member of, become property of Artix Entertainment, LLC (AE). Do not steal the ideas posted here, and give credit if using any material knowingly taken from someone else's ideas. Do not suggest anything taken from an outside source, such as television media, movies, books, or the like. While a parody is acceptable, copyrighted ideas cannot be used word for word as they are in outside sources.
Generic ideas are not copyrighted and are not considered stolen material whether it has been seen in other suggestion threads or in a media resource. In some cases, an idea is already planned for use by Artix Entertainment, and although you are welcome to post your own example of these ideas, be aware that your post may only be used for inspiration toward an idea already in progress or disregarded in entirety.
ED Suggestions Board Rules
1) Advertisements are not permitted.
Your suggestions may be well and good, but it is not permitted for you to actively advertise them in any form, be it posting in other people's threads to link to your post, posting threads in other forums or having links in your signature (i.e., "Look at my suggestions please!"). Advertising your suggestion post may result in deletion of your post, and any further consequences deemed appropriate.
2) Image Restrictions
Images of a suggestion's content may be used, but may only be posted as links. Do not use [image] tags, they will be removed and you may receive a warning for doing so.
3) Signature Restrictions
In order to avoid the clutter that comes with them, signatures are not allowed. They only detract from your suggestion so please do not use them.
4) Keep Art Suggestions in the appropriate thread.
While this will not be moderated, posting your own thread full of art suggestions means that the developers will probably not see it and as such, your suggestion is very unlikely to make it in game. So it is in your best interest to post anything that you have drawn in this thread. You spent your time making it, help us to see it!
5) Discussion of Suggestions
Be courteous of others' suggestions. If you agree, it is helpful to explain what you like about the suggestion. If you disagree, explain your criticisms kindly. Flaming/insults will not be tolerated.
6) ED Suggestions AKs/Mods
The AKs and Mods reserve permission to delete any post found to be in violation of board/forum rules. This means, quite simply, that if a post breaks the rules of either this board or the overall forum, the AKs/Mods in charge of ED Suggestions reserve the right to delete the post as well as hand out any Warnings or penalties they see fit. Good suggestions which are closed for violations other than those relating to the suggestion itself (i.e., flaming within the thread) will be permitted to be remade provided the AK or Mod in question grants them such permission. If you feel the AK/Mod is being unfair, please discuss the matter with them first, then follow the chain of command as discussed in the next post.
