^^Sorry, but I think most of complaints come from people who were complaining about support mercs, and then about str bounties.

Only newbies expect to be able to win every single fight. Once you can constantly get above 80%, be happy with it. You and your build are good.

The reason why these strength noobs are so powerful is because of Agility, it makes two turn kill builds useful. If agility were removed this whole problem would be solved.

^ yes but only removing agility isnt enough , make Maul Require Tech or Support. STR build fast and higher ratio than normal builds :S

^If they put requirement on Maul, mercs would just use Double Strike.

@8rlx0 Yeah, but Double Strike is so much less dangerous that Maul. With a requirement on it, it can greatly lowers the effectiveness of those Maul-Bezerker combos. If Mercs start to use Double Strike + Bezerker other players will actually get a chance to defend themselves and not be 2-hit-ko'd without being able to fight back.

I cant prove it but from being a merc in the past i know if you double strike then berserker back to back, one is bound to miss. Like i said i cant prove it but i just know it happens alot.

@Turkish Horrid idea.We all know stat requiremnets on everytthing is what is ruining this game its forcing all to have 4 or 5 focus.We have to put just 40 points into one stat.To use just one skill and its just messed up.

I suggest you do your homework in future before making derogatory comments.

1. I'm not a strength abuser, I don't even 1v1, I mainly use 4 focus builds in 2v2.
2. My message was not to stop the complaining, merely highlighting the fact that within a month of now I can guarantee 3 more threads stating something along the lines of 'I'm sick of x stat/skill being abused by x class'.

Mehh... I made a build tht won 75% of batles vs str mercs.. and my new build defeats from 80 to 90% of all str builds ... sooo Mercs rent rlly tht difficult if you are smart enough to make a good all around build.. litterally... I defeat str bounties in 3 turns if they dnt use the assault bot an dif they do... I beat them in 4-6 turns... well a lot of them... I still cnt seem to defeat dax :/

Str mercs: Energy... I have pretty high resist and if thts not enough.. I tech up
Physicsl: I have 29+1 def and then a 28 def matrix... and 50 heal... NUFF said.

Tech mages: Well I rlly just go with the flow... they have a lot of different strategies because of all the confusion I lose to about 40-60% of them.

soo yeah, get creative.. use your brain... I'm pretty young and can do all this easily sooo come on guys ;) lol

Im using a Tech mage strength build,only for NPC's. I still think Strength Merc are OP

Like I said in a previous post, the reqs.on skills have 2 make sense. How does it require technical skills to bash an opponent?(maul)

You do know people that putting stat requirements would just make them stop turning to str mercs but back to tanker types which are far more dangerous than str mercs even though str mercs kill people in 2 turns.

Tech merc's are alot safer to fight then str merc's, my regular build does a 40 malfunction and the aux and sidearm wreck in damage so lowering there tech makes em weaker and makes me hit higher.

No offense to your epic malf that can drain up to 40 tech, but tanker mercs have about 87 tech with a +8 armor nowadays and agility which is equal to 32-39+8+1 resistance. If they have assault bot and debuff your malf, whats your best bet??

Most tech merc's i fight use physical armors and always gamma bots, so for the 1-2 i have fought with energy armor and assault bot i guess ile be getting rage fast and alot.

Well us "Str noobs" have a goal and that is to win when we win goal complete same goal as everyone eles...
Ok so we abuse str big deal everyone has probbly made a build where they abuse some stat so i don't see the problem with it

When you see a massive increase in one particular build being used and then see records like 500 wins 90 losses
on mercs that you know for a fact do the same thing in every fight, their is a balance issue. no one wants mercs
nerfing to the point where they are unplayable, or were that build becomes completely useless, we just want balance.

Yea ive even posted 3 on forums but they are all labeled FUN builds, not "I wanna be cheap and abuse this till it gets nerf'd" builds.

@Jehannum, you bring up a good point. Those who have high numbers in a given stat basically have to go through a "routine" in battle for said battle to even be effective and give them a chance of winning. A Merc with 100+ STR probably won't have a great deal of Support so Auxillary has probably been thrown out the window there and they rely on their club/sword/gun with the Stunzerk combo. In nearly every match with a STR Merc that i have been in they have done the same two skills each time; Maul and Bezerker, if the stun happens to miss then they'll more than likely be left with very little choice apart from using their Sidearm or the Strike attack.

    I wouldn't call them "noobs" it's a type of strategy if you can not beat someone with that strategy then you should create a build that is anti-strength if you need to.
